So yeah. I'm *really* sick. I feel like a broken record but honestly, I am not used to prolonged illness. Normally it's one or two days and I'm feeling fine again but I've had this ridiculous flu/virus thing for almost two weeks now, shitty nose running, and mucus and coughing and stuff, and now the latest addition to that lineup of complaints is something akin to stomach pain. It's weird. Sometimes I think I'm just hungry (because it sort of like..I can't explain but it could be that) and then I eat stuff and then it just hurts with the bonus of feeling like wanting to throw up.
As you can imagine, working was really bad yesterday.
I really wanna get better by tomorrow because a) band playing b) assignment due
But anyway back to the weird fate-thing.
I forgot to wear a tie today (my thing where I am wearing ties to work) but I called in sick anyway. Because you know, I am sick and all that. I really hate calling in sick. It's like saying "i give up, i can't take this anymore" (but seriously, it is just getting to the stage where i dont want to do anything at all)
I also tried to find a free phone today at uni. There is one near cultural space (filled to the brim with cultural PIs lol) but it didnt work. I ended up using the one @ reception in the AUSA house.
But yeah. More twist-fate.
So I have a test today right. And yeah, obviously I feel like shit. So I wouldn't have done particularly well.
So we're sitting in HSB1, the lecturer turns up, test papers are being handed out...
then BAM they run out of test papers. They needed like 160 and didn't have enough for half the people in the room.
So the test has been moved.
Yeah. After that, I tried to see a doctor @ uni but apparently there was a backlog until like Monday. They said emergency service is available but I'd feel like a twat taking that up. I only met one of the criteria anyway, abdominal pain.
Honestly, the Monday of the holidays, if I still feel remotely like this, it's just gonna be like..
lie in bed

I think that is the meaning of life, to sit around and think about things, until you think you know it all and then you finally realise you are about to die.
Is it wrong to enjoy reading what you'd previously written? Strange. It doesn't seem like reading my thoughts, yet that's what it is.
Jeez that sounds pretentious. As you were! Hope the sick-germ bombs are spreading to everyone so I'm not alone in my misery :) Maybe I'll go cough outside for a bit.

Went to APO concert tonight. It was very good (and worth the stress of the drive to get there) - Ives 3 pieces of New england (or something), then Gareth Farr's Triple concerto and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet.
ok Ives
its very modern yay
2nd movement was the best, lots of energy and very eccentric music, totally awesome and vibrant. full of character (and lovely rhythms and interplay between them)
---
Farr's triple concerto (this is the piece i had to hear) - was very cool. the NZ trio were very proficient, the triple concerto: 1st movment very eastern in harmony and flavour, lots of pentatonic stuff left hand on piano played octaves which added to the lushness and lots of string work thick rich kind of like chocolate
2nd movement was cool
3rd movement i believe was started attaca (no break between the 2nd and 3rd ) - highly driving and rhythmical, always a constant pulse
i have notes somewhere but im sure you all dont care
---
prokofiev's romeo and juliet, well, i was kinda waiting for the one that josh groban sings but i guess it isn't prokofiev's lollllzzz it was still cool though and again a lot more "modern" than i thoiught it would be
awesome
---
I was coughing like you know the tickle cough do you have any idea how incredibly painful it is on the mind to try and withhold those coughs >< I was making spastic faces and breaking out into sweats in efforts to curb the coughs. Nice lady sitting in front of me gave me smints and they kinda helped lol. im pretty sure she only gave them to me to shut me up but oh well lol its not like I enjoyed ruining the pepole in A Reserve's time (hahah $120.00 ticket ruined by some stupid student who coughed heaps)
it was real funny too you could tell a lot of people wanted to cough because between ppieces and movements and stuff there would always be a cough-wave
lolz
dammit i hope this sickness isn't goiung to stay much longer, i dont really care for it to be honest

A short history of this Blog follows:
I remember William did some Harry Potter parody, and was hosting it on blogspot. And then he had a blog. And then I had one. The earliest entries were, to be honest, very reflective on just how far we've all come. I mean, devilmatrix? come on lol can you say lame
actually, this blog is still very lame. But the difference is, at least now, it's not contrived lame, just pure unadulterated lame!
This blog has seen me through countless rants about exams both in school and uni, this blog PREDATES FFXI (yeah can you believe that, I sure cannot), has heaps and heaps of hidden secret easter eggs that only I know about (don't bother looking you won't find it), seen me through holidays, overseas trips to Australia, Thailand, taken heaps of complaints about assignments (espeically the ones I do at the last minute, like today...), neuroticism...
It is almost a certainty this blog will not last forever. But the best one can hope for is that before it disappears, I will have the opportunity to record the last...I don't even know, is it 5? years of my life from this digital medium into something that lasts even longer. It's fun to look back.
But it's even greater to be moving forward. All the best!

No offense to the lecturer but...sometimes I wonder why I am doing such an arse paper lol.
Okay, so like we have an Assignment. Yes.
Part of the requirements is a scenario.
From the handout:
"Write a persona and scenario for your child – be sure to include age, gender and
ethnicity"
"Scenarios (2 x 200 words)"
And the sample scenario in the lecture slides: http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/compsci345s2c/lectures/L2%20PictureScenario.pdf
Ok. So we're doing a diet diary right.
So yeah. So we wrote our two scenarios as sort of like background stories leading up to use of the interface. I mean, considering we already have all the interface documentation and we did test it by "Wizard of Oz" (mock-test), it really didn't seem very helpful to have a page of "and then John pressed this button and it showed this, he decided to click this" etc
but it turns out thats what she fuckin wanted
okay
and get this
she expected us to do it this way, because it's in page 201 in the textbook.
Okay. Sweet. Except we weren't told to read it. So how can you say "okay we're gonna mark it based on *this* particular definition of what we mean by scenario"?
She then went on to say "omg ur third year should i have to tell you to read a textbook"?
Well, yeah, if you want to actually get back scenarios in the style you require. You know, when you assume...ass... yeah...
And anyway. If the textbook is so awesome, why don't we just save like the extra 400 bucks or whatever, just buy the textbook and be done with it? What is the point of lectures?
Gosh. Sometimes eh, and then this other group was like "oh i thought it was obvious" well obviously because you guessed right and you're on her side you silly suckup slut
ok lol thats enough hate

But www.henrychong.net is taken. And so is www.blakomen.com.
But okway anyway the point of this post is (apart from dumping my mind)
i like just randomly put in www.henrychong.com on a couple of domain name things, and this one particular site (to save it face i wont tell you which) also offers "alternative domains"

This is dedicated to everyone.
=====
Listen, be yourself
That's the most important thing I can say now girl
Don't, let anyone change you
I know life hurts but you're gonna make it through somehow
Forget, all the others
Who were scared so they criticised your views
Of course you're special
And that's why you're different
And that's why life is gonna notice you
You're a girl
You're a guy
But you're someone if you try
I believe in you
I believe in you
And please, just remember
You've always got my undivided love
Prepare
There's someone coming through
And they've always got my undivided love
My love
Got my love
Got my love
Undivided love
So what?
You're gonna die one day
You may as well live before we get too old girl
You might be screwed in the head like me well who really cares
At least you don't aspire to be boring and cold
You're all over the place
Well who isn't these days
Just keep this in your head
It's about the ride
Just enjoy yourself
And please, just remember
You've always got my undivided love
Prepare
There's someone coming through
And they've always got my undivided love
So please, just remember
You've always got my undivided love
Prepare
There's someone coming through
And they've always got my undivided love
And sometimes all I want to do is wait
The shadow Ive been hiding in has fled from me today
I know its easier to walk away than look it in the eye
But I will raise a shelter to the sky
And beneath this
Star tonight Ill lie
She will slowly yield the light
As I awaken from the longest night
Dreams are shaking
Set sirens waking up tired eyes
With the light memories all rush into his head
By a candle stands a mirror
Of his heart and soul she dances
She was dancing through the night above his bed
And walking to the window
He throws the shutters out
Against the wall
And from an ivory tower hears her call
let the light surround you
Its been a long, long time
Hes had awhile to hink it over
In the end he only sees the change
Light to dark
Dark to light
Light to dark
Dark to light
Heaven must be more than this
When angels waken with a kiss
Sacred hearts wont take the pain
But mine will never be the same
He stands before the window
His shadow slowly fading from the wall
And from an ivory tower he hears her call
let the light surround you
Once lost but I was found
When I heard the stained glass shatter all around me
I sent the spirits tumbling down the hill
But I will hold this one on high above me still
I once could see but now at last Im blind
I know its easier to walk away than look it in the eye
But I had given all than I could take
And now Ive only habits left to break
Tonight Ill still be lying here
Surrounded in all the light

A Heuristic Evaluation of the Usability of Infants
By Scott McDaniel
This article was originally published in 1999 in the STC Intercom Vol. 46(9), 44
For your consideration...
Results from a heuristic evaluation of infants and their user interface, based on direct observational evidence and Jakob Nielsen's list of 10 heuristics from www.useit.com. All ratings from 1 to 10, with 1 being worst and 10 being best.
Visibility of System Status 6. While it is easy enough to determine when the infant is sleeping and eating, rude noises do not consistently accompany the other primary occupation of infants. Further, infants can multitask, occasionally performing all three major activities at the same time.
Match Between System and the Real World 3. The infant does not conform to normal industry standards of night and day, and its natural language interface is woefully underdeveloped, leading to the error message problems cited below.
User Control and Freedom 2. The infant's users have only marginal control over its state. While they can ensure the availability of food, diapers, and warmth, it is not often clear how to move the infant from an unfavorable state back to one in which it is content. When the default choice (data input) doesn't work, user frustration grows quickly.
Consistency and Standards 7. Most infants have similar requirements and error messages, and the same troubleshooting procedures work for a variety of infants. Cuteness is also an infant standard, ensuring that users continue to put up with the many user interface difficulties.
Error Prevention 5. Keeping the infant fed, dry, and warm prevents a number of errors. Homeostasis is, however, a fleeting goal, and the infant requires almost constant attention if the user is to detect errors quickly and reliably. All bets are off if the infant suffers from the colic bug or a virus.
Recognition Rather Than Recall 7. The various parts of the infant generally match those of the user, though at a prototype level. The users, therefore, already have in place a mental model of the infant's objects. The data input and output ports are easily identifiable with a minimum of observation.
Flexibility and Efficacy of Use 2. Use of the infant causes the user to conform to a fairly rigid schedule, and there are no known shortcuts for feeding, sleeping, and diaper buffer changing. Avoid buffer overflows at all costs, and beware of core dumps! While macros would be incredibly useful, infants do not come equipped with them. Macro programming can usually begin once the infant attains toddler status.
Aesthetic and Minimalist Design 5. As mentioned earlier, infants have a great deal of cuteness, and so they score well on aesthetic ratings. Balancing this, however, is the fact that the information they provide is rather too minimal. Infants interact with the user by eating, generating an error message, or struggling during buffer updates.
Help Users Recognize, Diagnose, and Recover from Errors 1. Infants have only a single error message, which they use for every error. The user, therefore, is left to diagnose each error with relatively little information. The user must remember previous infant states to see if input is required, and the user must also independently check other routine parameters. Note the error message is not the same as a General Protection Fault. That is what resulted in the infant in the first place.
Help and Documentation 1. While some user training is available from experts, infants come with effectively no documentation. If users seek out documentation, they must sift through a great deal of conflicting literature to discover that there are very few universal conventions with regard to infant use.
Mean score 3.9
Sitting at home after rocking and areeling
All night in a cat fight
With the only one that can make me cry
Open the blinds and the world is in rotation
Shaking my mind like an etch-a-sketch erasing
Sunshine, you were bad, i’m
Still mad but I can’t remember why
I believe you know me well
I react like you’re rining a bell
Are you sorry that you treat me unkind
Never you mind
Rolling along to the song that aggravates us
Beckoned on by the mirage of an oasis
Hurry, I’m getting blurry
And it’s no longer clear in my mind
I believe you know me well
I react like you’re ringing a bell
Are you sorry that you treat me unkind
Never you mind
I believe I got you down
You react like anybody else around
Are you sorry that we wasted our time
Never you mind
Sometimes it takes all my time guessing why
I can’t figure it out
Sometimes it takes all my energy just to forget about
All the memories that I’d be better off without
I believe you know me well
Switch on the box mr. spock is on the table
Dr. mccoy is unable to connect his brain
Sweatin and strainin
Well it seemed so simple at the time

She never felt so alive
Her thoughts are racing
Set on overdrive
It takes a village
This she knows is true
they're expecting her
And she's got work to do
He helplessly stands by
It's meaningless to try
As he rubs his red-rimmed eyes
He says I've never seen her get this bad
Even though she seems so high
He knows that she can't fly
and when she falls out of the sky
He'll be standing by
She was raised in a small midwestern town
By a charming and eccentric loving father
She was praised as the perfect teenage girl
And everyone thought highly of her
And she tried everyday
With endless drive
To make the grade
Then one day
She woke up to find
The perfect girl
Had lost her mind
Once barely taking a break
Now she sleeps the days away
She helplessly stands by
It's meaningless to try
All she wants to do is cry
No one ever knew she was so sad
Cause even though she gets so high
And thinks that she can fly
She will fall out of the sky
But in the face of misery
She found hopefulness
Feeling better
She had weathered
This depression
Much to her advantage
She resumed her frantic pace
Boundless power
Midnight hour
She enjoyed the race
Just a healthy normal boy
His mama always did her best
And he was daddy's pride and joy
He learned to walk and talk on time
But never cared much to be held
and steadily he would decline
Into his solitary shell
As a boy he was considered somewhat odd
Kept to himself most of the time
He would daydream in and out of his own world
but in every other way he was fine
He's a Monday morning lunatic
Disturbed from time to time
Lost within himself
In his solitary shell
A temporary catatonic
Madman on occasion
When will he break out
Of his solitary shell
He struggled to get through his day
He was helplessly behind
He poured himself onto the page
Writing for hours at a time
As a man he was a danger to himself
Fearful and sad most of the time
He was drifting in and out of sanity
But in every other way he was fine
He's a Monday morning lunatic
Disturbed from time to time
Lost within himself
In his solitary shell
A momentary maniac
With casual delusions
When will he be let out
Of his solitary shell

and we'll never be world apart
Maybe in magazines
but you'll still be my star
Baby cause in the Dark
You can see shiny Cars
And that's when you need me there
With you I'll always share
Because
When the sun shines
We’ll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
That I'll always be your friend
Took an oath
I'mma stick it out 'till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other
You can stand under my Umbrella
You can stand under my Umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
[VERSE 2]
These fancy things,
will never come in between
You're part of my entity
Here for Infinity
When the war has took it's part
When the world has dealt it's cards
If the hand is hard
Together we'll mend your heart
Because ...
[CHORUS]
When the sun shines
We'll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
That I'll always be your friend
Took an oath
I'mma stick it out 'till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other
You can stand under my Umbrella
You can stand under my Umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
You can run into my Arms
It's okay don't be alarmed
(Come into Me)
(There's no distance in between our love)
So Gonna let the rain pour
I'll be all you need and more
Because ...
[CHORUS]
When the sun shines
We'll shine Together
Told you I'll be here forever
That I'll always be your friend
Took an oath
I'mma stick it out 'till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other
You can stand under my Umbrella
You can stand under my Umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
It's raining (raining)
Ooo baby it's raining
baby come into me
Come into me
It's raining (raining)
Ooo baby it's raining
You can always come into me
Come into me......

something's happened to my tongue. it hurts in random specific p[laces. almost like certain taste buds are inflamed or something. it makes me talk slightly funny and slurry
excellent
today some stupid woman tried to argue with me over a price sticker that was left ona product. said 14.95 but that was the US retail price and she tried to pull the whole "omg false advertising" BUT ACTUALLY NAH SILLY WOMAN that was changed in 1991. So shame. Price stickers are only an invitation to buy (separate to advertisements in print, radio, other media etc). so shame. have fun not having an origami kit.

- Why does a $500 tuxedo rent for $90 a day while a $20,000 car rents for only $40?
- Why do female models earn so much more than male models?
- Why might retailers deliberately hammer dents into their own appliances?
- Why do the keypad buttons of drive-up cash machines have Braille dots?
- Why are child safety seats required in cars but not in airplanes?
- Why are whales, but not chickens, in danger of extinction?
- Why is there a light in your refrigerator but not in your freezer?
- Why do 24-hour convenience stores have locks on their doors?
- Why are newspapers, but not soft drinks, sold in vending machines that allow customers to take more units than they paid for?
- Why are brown eggs more expensive than white ones, even though the two types taste the same and have identical nutritional value?

and ya i know a lot of people would bel ike "B IS YOUR WORST GRADE??!?! OMG u R A TWAT" but to be honest yeah i really deserve much lower grades; just lucky my subjects are easyish (not like Engineering omg maths 108 was enough of a headache)
I have recieved my lowest mark so far at uni... :(
a B for Computer Graphics.
I got a A- in the harder paper, Image Analysis and Processing. What is up with that? I dunno why my computer graphics score is so low. It's probably my lousy ray-tracer and lousy exam and general lack of effort this semester. Unless I get an A or A+, this will also be the lowest GPA to date.
Figures lol you sow what you reap

Haven't seen rain so hard and skies so dark in New Zealand for ages. Reminds me of thunderstorms in Malaysia during the wet. Exciting! Shame on all of you losing reception for Sky :P (not that we even have it but we can't lose what we don't have!)

1) NOT CHEAP like everyone tells me ( i balk at the thought of what a regular optometrist would have charged if $600 is cheap)
2) LATE super super late they told me 2 weeks and now I'm not getting them until the 3-4th of June.
So yeah. They had best be incredible.
I am thinking of seeing if I can get contacts for harry potter day. cause then i can actually wear the iconic harry glasses. although in the bookcover recently his rims aren't as black or thick. but they are still round. hmm. and apaprently i have to start at 6 that day LOL YAY FUNTIME

Things to note:
ANZ and National Bank have branches right next to each other. Their slogans are sinisterly similar (Come in. Sit Down vs Come on in, we'd like to get to know you.)
You can now walk to Pak'n'Save without being rained on!
THERE IS NOW A FUCKING POST OFFICE YAY so when people ask me when I'm working I can be like yeah fo'sure get ur ass into PaperPlus
PaperPlus is open. Honestly, I don't think they will be much competition if any. Seriously you should walk into their store and then into ours
and then theirs
then ours
and it will be painfully obvious, if it wasn't the first time. I am almost certain we have more travel books than they have books, full stop.
Oh yeah i was dressed as harry potter for a bit today handing out flyers and stuff and holy crap it's a lot harder than it looks. the worst thing is when people take a flyer and throw it away in your face. they dont even have to courtesy to wait till i can't see them? cuntstick and yeah anyway i was walking up and down the mall and i got told off by security and it was like borders vs sylvia park
and i think borders won woo cause i managed to buy time by looking confused so the dude was just like ok keep handing them out for now, but i'll comeback
(sorry to security guard you're just doing ur job im just doing mine)
did i mention i fuckin hate sylvia park? its funny you'd think they'd let all their staff park at sylvia park but no apparently you have to pay for that. so now our staff parking free bit has been
moved so its not even in sylvia park again. at least its close
but its still a pain in the butt and they leave stupid bitchy flyer handout things under my windscreen wipers
and those fucking fat poly bitches who ride on those damn scooter things SLOWER THAN PEOPLE WALK down the mall
like wth
get off and walk you lazy cow you'd be faster
back to stage IV....
there's an interesting cafe/chocolate place to complement that boiled sweets place which was awesome and im so glad they had good business today they looked real busy like cause before they were in that little offshoot bit of stage 3 which people hardly go to but today was awesome so i hope it keeps up for them YAY GO THEM
oh yeah paper plus sucks did i mention lol such a depressing book store
i bet their borders shortlist equivalent, the e-club, is just as shit lol
yeah i know be fair to competitors etc
but honestly lol i can't not look at the store and laugh
maniacally
ok so yeah stage IV really isnt that big but theres many banks many
and A SUBWAY
lol i was sold on subway

Did gym and Gibbs in the wake.
All mimes were the borrowers,
And the moderate Belgrade.
"Beware the tablespoon my son,
The teeth that bite, the Claus that catch.
Beware the Subjects bird, and shred
The serious Bandwidth!"
He took his Verbal sword in hand:
Long time the monitors fog he sought,
So rested he by the Tumbled tree,
And stood a while in thought.
And as in selfish thought he stood,
The tablespoon, with eyes of Flame,
Came stifling through the trigger wood,
And troubled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and though,
The Verbal blade went thicker shade.
He left it dead, and with its head,
He went gambling back.
"And host Thai slash the tablespoon?
Come to my arms my bearish boy.
Oh various day! Cartoon! Cathay!"
He charted in his joy.
Teas Willis, and the sticky tours
Did gym and Gibbs in the wake.
All mimes were the borrowers,
And the moderate Belgrade.

So yeah. Glasses. I went to the Optometry clinic in city because apparently its cheaper than Visique or OPSM, was gonna go to the Tamaki one but fully booked and I wanted new glasses ASAP. well;
1) Doesnt matter how fast I try i can't get my glasses in time for my first two exams...
2) jeez they did a lot of testing with my eyes lol, sure was $40 worth of testing. So much rubbish like yellow dye solution in my eye so they can look at the surface and also stuff like anaesthetic drops so they could measure the eye pressure (!!) and there was this funky blue/yellow light instrument, and a whoooole lot of testing and arrows and letters oh so many letters
3) I am not colour blind.
4) it turns out my current pair of glasses are too strong. I think it's something like ~6.25 atm and I am getting a pair of 5.75s. -, of course, because I am short sighted. myopic. yeah.
5) I have mild astigmatism. i cannot remember whether it's vertical or horizontal.
6) apparently i have a good case to use contacts because of the moderate (lol, yeah right its moderate more like blind) degree of visual impairment and other things like that i cant remember all the reasons but the student's supervisor sure made a believer out of me
7) GLASSES ARE EXPENSIVE. Holy crap I do not want to imagine what OPSM or Visique would have charged me, if UoA is cheap :\ The lenses alone cost more than $350 bucks :( then again I am very blind and they are cooly coated with all sorts of stuff like anti-reflection/glare and blahblahblah. and their cheap <$75 frames all looked silly. >.> I have converse frames lol no they were not cheap but at least they look good.
so like i will be doing 2 exams with lopsided glasses YAY

SOCIALISM
You have 2 cows.
You give one to your neighbour.
COMMUNISM
You have 2 cows.
The State takes both and gives you some milk.
FASCISM
You have 2 cows.
The State takes both and sells you some milk.
NAZISM
You have 2 cows.
The State takes both and shoots you.
BUREAUCRATISM
You have 2 cows.
The State takes both, shoots one, milks the other, and then throws the milk away...
TRADITIONAL CAPITALISM
You have two cows.
You sell one and buy a bull.
Your herd multiplies, and the economy grows.
You sell them and retire on the income.
SURREALISM
You have two giraffes.
The government requires you to take harmonica lessons
AN AMERICAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You sell one, and force the other to produce the milk of four cows.
Later, you hire a consultant to analyse why the cow has dropped dead.
ENRON VENTURE CAPITALISM
You have two cows.
You sell three of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of
credit opened by your brother-in-law at the bank, then execute a debt/equity
swap with an associated general offer so that you get all four cows back,
with a tax exemption for five cows.
The milk rights of the six cows are transferred via an intermediary to a
Cayman Island Company secretly owned by the majority shareholder who sells
the rights to all seven cows back to your listed company.
The annual report says the company owns eight cows, with an option on one more.
You sell one cow to buy a new president of the United States, leaving you with nine cows.
No balance sheet provided with the release.
The public then buys your bull.
THE ANDERSEN MODEL
You have two cows.
You shred them.
A FRENCH CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You go on strike, organise a riot, and block the roads, because you want three cows.
A JAPANESE CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You redesign them so they are one-tenth the size of an ordinary cow and
produce twenty times the milk.
You then create a clever cow cartoon image called 'Cowkimon' and market it worldwide.
A GERMAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You re-engineer them so they live for 100 years, eat once a month, and milk themselves.
AN ITALIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows, but you don't know where they are.
You decide to have lunch.
A RUSSIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You count them and learn you have five cows.
You count them again and learn you have 42 cows.
You count them again and learn you have 2 cows.
You stop counting cows and open another bottle of vodka.
A SWISS CORPORATION
You have 5000 cows. None of them belong to you.
You charge the owners for storing them.
A CHINESE CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You have 300 people milking them.
You claim that you have full employment, and high bovine productivity.
You arrest the newsman who reported the real situation.
AN INDIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You worship them.
A BRITISH CORPORATION
You have two cows.
Both are mad.
AN IRAQI CORPORATION
Everyone thinks you have lots of cows.
You tell them that you have none.
No-one believes you, so they bomb the **** out of you and invade your country.
You still have no cows, but at least now you are part of a Democracy....
A NEW ZEALAND CORPORATION
You have two cows.
The one on the left looks very attractive.
AN AUSTRALIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
Business seems pretty good.
You close the office and go for a few beers to celebrate.

broken down he's lost everything
no cars, no fancy clothes to make him who he's not
the woman at his side is all that he has got
Why do you ask him move heaven and earth
To prove his love has worth
Would he walk on water
Would he run through fire
Would he stand before you
When it's down to the wire
Would he give his life up
To be all he can
Is that, is that, is that
How you measure a man
If by chance all he had to give you
Was three words wrapped around your finger
Would that be deep enough at the end of everyday
and how will you ever know if a man is what he says
Why do you ask him move heaven and earth
To prove his love has worth
Would he walk on water
Would he run through fire
Would he stand before you
When it's down to the wire
Would he give his life up
To be all he can
Is that, is that, is that
How you measure a man
He'd never gives up
Lets go of his dreams
his world goes around
for his one true belief
Is that how you know
Is that what it means
Would he walk on water
Would he run through fire
Would he stand before you
Will he be your anchor when the dark unfolds
Will he always love you the best that he knows
Would he give his life up
To be all he can
Is that, is that, is that
How you measure a man
Would he walk on water
Would he run through fire
Would he stand before you
When it's down to the wire
Would he give his life up
To be all he can
Is that, is that, is that
How you measure...
Is that, is that, is that
How you measure a man

woman pushing a pram along the centre line of the road. I had to swerve to avoid. I look back in the rear view mirror-
gone.
then i drive a little bit further and out of the right corner of my eye it looks like something is hurtling straight into my car from the right something fast like a running man clad completely in white
that was pretty unnerving

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.
So yeah. The hot water cylinder is up now. FINALLY I can have a shower tomorrow morning. Oh, that will be *so* good. Two/three more assignments to go. I am holding out for the holidays, to be honest.
Jacqueline Wilson came into borders and *man* I didn't have a clue she was that popular. But she was. Is. Is, she is still alive...work work work money w00t.
How is everyone? I hope you are all okay. I guess I shalt see you all this Saturday, I believe?
48 hours. Academy concert. It was alright. I should have stayed and gotten some bites but, whatever, I wanted to go home lol.

I blame the Herald. There is a 35% off a full priced book coupon in the herald which is awesome, and ALSO in the borders email sendout thing, there is 40% off a full priced book and 35% off a DVD. So obviously people have been coming in, in throngs to use these coupons.
Heck, we even ordered in 350 heralds to sell *just* for the discount coupon in it, and heaps of people have bought heralds just for that one page and chucked the rest out lol
