Today, I watched Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Yes. Judgment. It is Americn. So it can spell itself, however it likes.)

Very cool. Makes me want to watch the First and the Third even though I have heard that they are not as good.

I thought the kid was a little too whiny at times.

Yeah. Lots of action, but, also a message.

Good.

Dammit, the year is almost at an end.

Hello. Today was rather productive. Consumption of bread: YES.

Sonny DENNIS (and apparently me, although I don't really know how useful I am) are working on a TV series.

I am (apparently) the basis for the idiot guy.

KEN Yakitori is as usual overpriced and nice. I paid $7 for some cocktail thing it was yum, overpriced but yum. I think that sums up the whole place.

Anyway, the new year is coming soon. I will have more substantial and informative thought-pukes then.

Present count +1

Wednesday, December 21, 2005

Today, I got paid to watch kids sing old 80's songs, Stuart Little 3, and play Eye Toy 2.

It was rather fun. :D Eye Toy 2 is really cool. I want one now >.>

Stuart Little 3 is ANIMATED (whoa didnt see that one coming) and still has the voice of Michael J. Fox.

Singstar Pop and 80s has a cool rap thing. Where you rap. And. It like. Works out your rap. Thing. Ice Ice Baby is completely rap.

I think I made the right choice, I wouldn't have traded today (last day of work, free chips :D and good times) for a weekend with people who don't actually really want me there.

Good times.

Custom dinners are very cool. For $25.00 (actually, less if you exclude some exorbitant dessert and toilet paper), we fed three people with the following from Foodtown:

1x Rosemary and Garlic specialty bread
3L Keri Apple Juice (didn't open in the end)
$2.50 worth of Chicken pastrami
Medium container of potato salad in honey mustard mayonnaise
6 Turkish Delights (this was the most expensive thing at $15.90 a kilo!! but. they are extremely yum. I don't blame the kid from Narnia for wanting more.)
A bag of lime and chilli soy um cracker thingies
A bag of random asiany rice cracker things (multicoloured too!)

It was rather yum. And. more fun than fast food. cause, it doesnt take that long and you pick it. so yeah.

Um. That was fun.
Morning walk: O

Presents obtained for family: O

Um.

My feet are rather itchy, I finished mowing the lawn today.

Monday, December 19, 2005

This morning, I woke up at 9am.

Me and Sonny went for a "brisk power walk" (okay sounds lame it was more like hey we should move more often ok lets go for morning walks so it's win win because

+ I wake up earlier
+ He gets to walk

)

And. Man. Macleans reserve. Who knew there were so many random paths through it...it was like, all foresty and trekky and stuff. For about the 10 mins we wandered within the depths of the foliage. Mmm foliage.

Anyway. I still haven't mowed the back part of the lawn, and I honestly was going to do it right then just before I am typing this shit but then it is starting to rain outside.

So instead to make it up to William (who is getting very angry/sad) I will hang the clothes up I guess.

I also need to enrol for next semester. And. Student loan. ARR Rhow can i afford it money money

consumerism sucks.

My breakfast (now lunch) is an amalgamation of the following:

Canned spaghetti
Colby cheese
Corn thins

Nothing about it is remotely green or healthy.

Oh well.

If virtual constructs and fabricated societial networks are a good representation of real world interaction, we're screwed because in FFXI:

+ I found a character called "Punchdeadbabies".
+ Someone told me to have a "marry crismas".
+ There were people complaining how there were no black people.

---

Yes I have not done much else.

William kinda semi-sorted timetable.

I was gonna go watch King Kong but I felt real bad in the mid afternoon, but got better as midnight approached and I'm fine now. At 2am.

We are trying to save on our power bill. ;_; We used more this year than last year so ergo ipsum factora det we must not use so much power.

Thursday, December 15, 2005

My piece didn't get through the first round of the Academy of Strings thing.

Really, I am not surprised :)

Don't get me wrong I am disappointed I don't get $50 but, ah well.

---

I was supposed to mow the lawn today. Instead, I did the laundry. I am not sure how the two events came to be mutually exclusive but I have a work meeting tomorrow.

Wednesday, December 14, 2005

Staple Diet: Cereal (grains and mammal excretions) and freshly liquidated fruits (juice).

Lawnmowing status: X

[Will do tomorrow]

Work tomorrow? Yes.

Is there a remedy for cold feet? Am I supposed to light some inner fire of courage or something? Hmm.

---

Khan in Howick, Mongolian BBQ. Great. Very, very great. Mmmm. It's like you pick your meat and sauce and they cook it and theres also other stuff and really nice icecream+waffles.

Best of luck to Simon and crew for their movie shoot later tonight.

And as usual, I don't have anything profound or thought provoking, but I will give you a random link.

Hello.

Just watched Narnia : The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Great work. I like it, a lot. Um. I cannot really explain exactly why. A lot of it seemed like Lord of the Rings -_- you know with the good army camp and then the bad people forging stuff and then there is also the whole England is Aslan's Lion side and Germany is the Ice Queen and lets bomb the dirty orc and dwarven and minotaur Germans...

But yeah it was good, good good.
Ants are fuckin stupid. Incredibly stupid. Why the hell do they want to fall into juice?! Sure it's sweet and sugary and probably totally awesome for your queen, but, dammit you stupid insects, all you're doing is drowning in our apple juice. At least take it back. If you're gonna die, die somewhere else.

Hell's Pizza is rather scrumptious, The Office has ridiculously great subtle humour, I am awake at 6:30?!?!

It is. Friday. Or. Saturday?

Saturday.

I am connected to the internet again.

Yay!

1) Edwards Scissorhands - a very cool movie (yes Dennis I see the automaton machine-assembly similarities, but, the line was much shorter back in 1990 ^_^). It's rather sad how he can't touch anything without destroying it BUT YET he creates great works of art through the destruction or something along those lines. And. Nobody was like "whoa you saved the kid from the random drunk twat" it was more like omg you cut him, even though we all know you have scissors for hands!

2) FLCL (FuriKuri). Holy crap. Hilarious, absolutely hilarious. Though, I guess it isn't meant to be totally funny. Random South Park allusion, doesn't ever take itself too seriously. And. Um. Fighting robots! Woo!

There is nothing quite like waking up to find your mum gone.

Of course, I was awake when the car pulled out of the driveway, etc. Hugs etc.

I think sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have parents.

I think sometimes, I think too little.

Sometimes, I think thinking about what I think about sometimes can get rather confusing.

Animals, Animals, Animals...

I have just microwaved Sausages. They are rather nice, although slightly mildly spicy.

[Hey, I'm your subconscious. Shut up.]

So. Um. Anyway.

...

There is nothing much to talk about. Internet working today, for now, anyway. Some random Telecom guy came around and yelled at our router. Apparently, it is our router's fault.

Which means Slingshot owes us a new one if it is really the problem.

Alicia Keys: Falling. Quite possibly the worst song I've heard in a while.

Our internet died again today. I actually sat around for an hour, without knowing what else to do.

Seriously.

But then....I played PS2. ;_;

Academy of Strings played at Te Tuhi Christmas Concert.

Dennis, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was a vegetarian lunchbox. My mum likes to surprise people o_O

Anyway, I have finished watching OC Season 2. Seriously, so sad a finale. I have not much else to say :
Except not having internet. Is hard. Hmm.

An apology, which if you know me, you may paste upon your fridge or some other location where you come upon frequently.

I can do really selfish, stupid, or just senseless things. Sometimes, I speak, just to make some noise and see what happens. I think it is more exciting that way. Inadvertently, I may say something really rude, or dumb, or just plain cruel. If you happen to be one of the people I accidently slander, please accept my humble apologies, and remember that my accidental slander isn't worth so much anyway. I hope you will remember that I am dumb, and idiotic, and don't take it too personally. Feel free to attack me back if you so desire, for I will not mind if I do so deserve it.

pool2 Audio pronunciation of "pool" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pl)
n.
    1. A game of chance, resembling a lottery, in which the contestants put staked money into a common fund that is later paid to the winner.
    2. A fund containing all the money bet in a game of chance or on the outcome of an event.
  1. A grouping of resources for the common advantage of the participants: a pool of implements for the use of all the workers on the estate; forming a pool of our talents.
  2. An available supply, the use of which is shared by a group.
  3. A group of journalists who cover an event and then by agreement share their reports with participating news media: the White House press pool.
    1. A mutual fund established by a group of stockholders for speculating in or manipulating prices of securities.
    2. The persons or parties participating in such a fund.
  4. An agreement between competing business concerns to establish controls over production, market, and prices for common profit.
  5. Any of several games played on a six-pocket billiard table usually with 15 object balls and a cue ball. Also called pocket billiards.
I am not very good, but it is still fun. I cannot think of many things which I am not good at and yet still enjoy. Like, Fighting Games. Oh. I hate them, mainly cause I suck. In pool, see, if you lose, you still got to attack something with a very long stick, so. It's all good.

[Here is a reflective pause.]

On one level, drinking milk from another species is rather disgusting, but on the other level, it just tastes so good with crunchy cereal! [The best way to forget the big picture is to concentrate on the small details.]

[Angled brackets?! Nah, they look rather square to me.]

Seriously, look at the first entry.

Ponder. Think.

I think that is the meaning of life, to sit around and think about things, until you think you know it all and then you finally realise you are about to die.

WOO! MORBID!

Here is a smiley face to completely destroy/desecrate the mood.

:)
Just watched Dennis' The Art of Storytelling.

26/10.

Yes, twenty-six. XXVI.

So many subtleties, wicked humour, great characterisation and acting, stellar music, everything was just hilarious in its own right.

:D

Oh yes I forgot to mention I have now watched Sin City.

And if I ever have to choose between Sin City and Wedding Crashers again, Sin City wins like, 1000 hands down (sorry David. I can see why you don't like the movie.)

Very impressive visual style, etc. The worst bit on the DVD is when I saw Quentin Tarantino and it's kinda like "what. thats what he looks like? gah."
I have just finished my Academy of Strings composition.

It is just under 4 mins long.

Hmm.

William my mum and my sister are at Warkworth doing horseriding. They are pretty angry I am not there. But. Horseriding? [Hmm.] Maybe I will invite them to dinner to make up for it or something. Dunno. ;_;

Here is some really hard to read text which you probably will highlight.
