You know how I said "someone is going to explain this today"? I went in at lunchtime to the Sylvia Park branch, and I did most of the explaining. The stupid Indian lady was under the impression that there was nothing wrong with me being charged $35.00.

I complained about her. Hopefully a manager gives her the "shame finger".

Just tell them you'll switch to one of the 15 other banks in NZ. People hardly ever switch banks so this may prompt them to act. There are plenty of other banks out there that want a student like you to bank with them. Then to rub the salt in the wound make a nice complaint to the commerce comission and the banking ombudsman. Or perhaps even more fun, sue 'em in the disputes tribunal (small claims court) if you can be bothered.
