Hmm came back from a "band meeting". Kinda fixed up the original to make it more "fresh and new and youth of NZ music" (which is coincidentally what we wrote on our entry form to the Rockquest.
It appears that our band is most likely entered down under the Auckland heats. Yes.
I want a drum kit. I miss my red nice one in Malaysia...I really want to get it shipped out to New Zealand...but hey...hmm.
Yes. The sunsets are now a lot earlier in the morning and in the evening now...it's strange, we've had such brilliant ones recently...and the air's been a bit cold.
After the Chem exam earlier this morning I went to see "The Day After Tomorrow" which is extremely good and bad at the same time. (SPOILER WARNING, I WILL RUIN THE MOVIE FOR YOU IF YOU READ ON.) Good first:
+ Nice touchy feely family movie designed for an American audience
+ Fantastic touch of irony where the people are saved by books. Har har har.
The rest was pretty bad. It's just that it seemed so damn unreasonable...maybe it is feasible but if it was I doubt you'd be able to run away from freezing cold like the people in the movie did. Okay, I'll list all my complaints.
+ The damn painfully obvious American Patriotism. Look at the Statue of Liberty, and see how it stands after being hit by a fucking massive tidal wave! Look at the American flag waving so valiantly in the wind! It's so fantastic! (puke puke)
+ The entire movie is all that one guy's fault. The guy running the drill...I swear he actually did do something very stupid...and cause that huge chunk of ice cap to break off and melt, and disrupt the balance between fresh and salt water in the oceans and cause all this shit to happen all over the world!
+ That silly girl in the "main romantic interest" of the story. She was incredibly, INCREDIBLY stupid. If you cut your leg open trying to save a French lady, fair enough, but at least have the sense to get it looked into. I mean, how could she not have noticed how damn shitty it looked or felt? To ignore a cut for three days that severe was pretty stupid...if she had gotten it cleaned up she wouldn't have forced those three people to go into a ship and find some medicine for her - and as a result hurt some OTHER guy's leg.
+ You can't run away from "APPROACHING SUB ZERO TEMPERATURES!!!" (well, common sense dictates otherwise)...watching the people run away from the cold was just really funny for me to watch.
+ To be saved by some piddly fire created by burning books was kinda stupid...but not as bad as being saved by a shitty as gas burner in some Wendy's. The fire was so small and crap, it wouldn't have done anything other than waste fuel. Wouldn't the gas have frozen at that ridiculous temperature anyway? Hmm.
+ Fucking retard astronauts. What the hell do they not have, windows? (oh wait, they do) They actually need to be ASKED whether the sky's cleared up...you'd think sometime one of them would just happen to glance out the window and go "Hey look it looks clearer, let's do our job and tell the people down there it looks like it's clearing up" instead of floating around like dipshits and playing with each other or whatever they do to pass time in space...until they get asked to do something.
---
Sorry if I sound angry. I believe it was almost worth my $9 that I paid for it...almost. It was fun to laugh at and I suppose it was very touching in a very "I'm not American but if I was narrow minded like most of them were" way.

Finished the last Chemistry exam.
It was kinda fun in a "spiritual release" kind of way. I used up the rest of the ink in my nice black inky pen but that's okay...
There is absolutely no chance at all that I will pass this time, what with my fantastic answers to the questions.
Example: Inert organic compounds that involve elements from the halogen group are important. Name three compounds and their uses.
Answer: HCl. It is used in swimming pools, because of its inertness. If it was not inert it would eat little children.
Example: State the reagents and conditions which are required in the hydrolosis of an ester.
Answer: Agent Smith: "Have you ever had that feeling, where you're not sure if you're awake, or still dreaming?"
Yes, my chances bode well for me...-_-
I had a lot of fun though. I drew many many things, such as Shrek the Sheep, a box, James Bond, moles (in reference to a question which asked how many moles there were of a substance...hahah get it moles hahah) and leaf alcohol.

Eating Media Lunch is the best TV program..ever.
What with (what I hope) is the fake screening of the death of Shrek the sheep, Jeremy Wells nicely saying "Cuntstable" (on national TV HAHAHA) and footage of the dumbarse Paul Holmes going "DONT WAVE CHILDREN NO DONT WAVE THE VIEWERS AT HOME DON'T LIKE IT" (which I think is a load of horseshit, if kids want to wave let them, don't get all uptight just cause it may set off your prostate Mr Holmes)...Eating Media Lunch = best TV show ever.

My thoughts on:
Cheese.
Some cheeses have holes. Now I think that was a devious marketing ploy by the Swiss to make having less cheese more desirable. Holes don't taste like anything. Are they even required in the cheesemaking process? Perhaps I'm wrong but...I don't know. The taste of holes is not good for me. Some may argue on the same premise of donuts but to be honest donuts are just overhyped fried pieces of dough anyway. Speaking of devious marketing ploys, what's with associating cute cartoony mice with cheese? I think they want little kids to go "hey that's cool the mice which are the protagonists who escape from the evil things like bad cats and fangs and consumption of self eat cheese - MUMMY I WANT CHEESE" and watch the little kids proceed to bawl their eyes out in some stuffy Supermarket Aisle. Kids like that are stupid, spoilt and should be kicked very hard in the butt for being stupid, on the account that:
1. Mice are not real.
2. Mice like all food, not just cheese.
3. Your mum pays for your food. Stop complaining.
Hmm. I think I'm getting quite angry. I don't mean to be, I think it's just my sickness and headache showing through.

Today, I went to school only for the first early bit because:
1. I wanted to hand out all the CDs I made for the band (which I did)
2. I had to hand in my Ball entry form and pay for the tickets.
3. I had a performance in House Assembly.
4. I had to pay Pei Yun to get on the PARTAY BUS which will take me to the ball.
5. I didn't really want to miss anything in class even though I'm on study leave.
I woke up feeling moderately crap, but by the time Maths was over I was very, very sick so I had to go home, getting Jason to write down nice notes for me in Physics...yes...I then went home and slept from 11.00 to 2.45 - which figures. I feel a little bit better though, even though I have an exam tomorrow and I am completely screwed over for it.
I'm still very happy about Sunday night. I can't wait to watch the video which I hope is good.
And if anyone has any ideas on where to rent a very cool flash car, let me know - I may not go to the ball in the party bus but I might get my brother to chaffeur me there. Maybe.
Maybe.

Random interesting things I remember from last night:
- The people literally brought the house down while we were playing. Like, for a while near the end of our set there were people trying to put back the support beam in Kim's garage.
- The moment when the crowd chanted "Fist Full of Fives". It was at that moment I was like, "hey, I could get used to this."
- Tim. 100% respect to you. 99% because you kick major booty on the drums, 1% because I believe you were wearing the same pair of underwear as I was. o_O
- Ellen as the dirty maid, singing really loudly along with "All The Small Things". Classic.
---
Anyway the recordings have been transferred onto my computer in which it will springboard into the rest of the world. Unfortunately while transferring from Sonny's MD to my computer the sound went from Stereo to Mono, and since there really wasn't another way I could think of to get the music off the MD for now Sonny still has the ultimate recording of it. He'd better not lose it.
I also made six CDs just then, a personalized copy for each band member and Sonny, and a distribution copy in case people actually want to listen to it. I think I'll let John handle that.
If anyone can think of an awesome place to put the recordings (on the internet) please let me know. I'm workin on that.
My stupid internet is also randomly disconnecting on me, which doesn't make my uploading job any easier.

Okay, I just came back from a party. I am soooo psyched. It just hit me now (not while I was there...like sudden onset AIDS.)
Well basically our band did our first ever live performance, complete with a darkish room, video recording, sound recording, people (lots of them, about 100) and music! AND IT ROCKED IT WAS SO INCREDIBLE. Just to watch a crowd jump up and down to music you play, man, that's an awesome feeling. I can't wait to see the video and get the recording (which is pretty high quality) on my hands!
I'm excited for the Rockquest, I really am.
There was this drummer though, Jen's boyfriend and he was really good. I kinda felt a bit stink for a bit cause he was so much better than me :P But he was really really great. It was nice getting his approval too.
It was great. Really, really great.
AH IT WAS SO GReATTETEAEATEAEAT
When I get the recordings back I'll link to them.

Hmm. I wrote something for the College Herald. I want $250. I WANT IT WE WANTS IT
---
Yesterday, I heard from one of my friends that a student somewhere in New Zealand was suspended from the school he attended. Why? Because he fashioned his hair after our New Zealand Idol and his famous shaved haircut.
Of course, he only said this to me because of my own hair, which passes the top of my shirt collar – an offence of my school’s uniform rules or so teachers tell me every day. As much as I love being a rebel, disobeying the school is not something I or most students enjoy doing. So “what gives”, you ask?
Common sense tells us that school rules are created to protect students and encourage a positive environment for learning and education. Keeping that in mind, how does having hair past the collar on your shirt stop you from solving a mathematical equation or writing an essay? The weight of my hair is not enough to force my head backwards or slow me down, and does not house head lice (or at least I hope not).
Although it may not seem like it, I think that most of my school’s rules are reasonable. No smoking and alcohol? I support that – usage is illegal for most of the student population anyway. No makeup? I would not be using makeup anyway, as much fun as it would be to attend school with lipstick and eyeliner. It is when a school forbids its male students to have their hair past their collar that I object.
All I really want is to have my hair long – today’s society is all about freedom of choice and having rights, after all. Most normal people would give in to the pressure and spend ten dollars or more to get their hair cut. But I am not a normal person so I stand up for my rights.
The next step for me if I was to try to keep my current hairstyle meant finding out what would happen if I refused to get my hair cut and ignored the teachers. Apart from the typical school fare of detentions and essays, a quick internet search showed me that according to the YouthLaw website (www.youthlaw.co.nz), a student can be stood down or suspended on the grounds of continual disobedience where he or she is “deliberately and regularly failing to do what [they] are told”.
My heart sinks. I do not want to be stood down, and as strange as it may sound I really do enjoy school and the people I meet there. But I read on. “As well as being...’continual disobedience’, [the] behaviour must set a harmful or dangerous example to other students. The behaviour must be likely to cause serious harm, not just to be harmful.”
Having my hair past my collar has definitely not been harmful and has not set a dangerous example to other students. Nobody seems to have suddenly started growing their hair just because I have. Although it would have been very flattering, I am glad nobody has since it is part of what defines me and my individuality. In the same way, a Ben Lummis hairstyle does no harm to anyone, but as it got a student suspended it must be harmful in a way. Maybe the school I heard about got it all wrong. Perhaps the suspension was unjustified.
To take away the right of education of a student because their hair looks different to everyone else’s seems unfair. Suspension on the basis of looks sounds a lot like discrimination. YouthLaw states that “students have the legal right not only to attend school but to be educated.” What a student’s choice about their hairstyle has to do their right to schooling bewilders me.
School rules are like society – most of them work well for the good of us all, but a few of them are unhelpful and negative. A school rule should be for the good of all students, and all other reasons are secondary. I hope that in the future, schools will look past shallow appearances and focus on the important things. However, until they do, I will probably remain a rule-breaker.
---
Critique as much as you want, I want that $250.
Also I have to hand in my money for the ball...man I'm so poor it's not fair. Stupid fucking corporate world we live in.

Exam results back (and to be honest I had nothing to worry about):
Maths: A
Physics: A
Music: Achieved, Excellence
I won't give exact percentages cause that's pointless.
OK! "What is this, a centre for ants? How can we teach the kids if they can't even fit inside the building?! It has to be at least...three times bigger!"

The following rant is sponsored by Purger/Ju (purger.blogspot.com)
::WHY I HATE AVRIL LAVIGNE::
It's not because she's Canadian (I think.)
It's not because Simon Zhou thinks she's hot.
It's because:
1. I haven't heard her recognise her band.
2. She doesn't write her own songs.
3. She butchered Chop Suey.
=Point one=
I hate artists who don't recognise the backup they've had. Maybe I've just never seen her do it but I don't think Avril's ever thanked her backing band publicly before. And she's not Avril Lavigne and The Matrix (the band backin her up) so...yeah.
=Point two=
It's even worse if they don't acknowledge it. Like FRED DURST THAT FUCKING CUNT (excuse my swearing) he stole Behind Blue Eyes from The Who and makes money from it. -_- I haven't seem him thank The Who for feeding his fat wallet...and Shannon Noll stole "What About Me". It's a really sad day indeed and a sad world when musicians don't write their own things any more. Maybe we should call them puppets. Or homonculi. -_-
=Point three=
I would tell you to go find it but I will spare your ears. Don't listen to it.
-
There you go. That's why I hate Avril Lavigne. I mean, she can sing, that's nice and all. But the bad outweighs the good for me.

I am not having a good day at all. Ask Sonny he can vouch for me.

Well first up this morning started alright, I woke up nice and early at 7.00, got ready for school and then I walked to school cause I initially thought I had an exam in the morning. I walked to school, didn't see anyone I knew, decided that it must have been a mistake, quickly glanced at my exam times and went home.
Fast forward to 10.30. Ming calls me and tells me "OI I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU, YOU'VE MISSED THE EXAM!!!" And then, I immediately think "damn" and "cool" at the same time. On one hand, I missed an exam. Well that was stupid. But on the other I think hurrah, I'm special I missed an exam! And also I won't get a record of how screwed I was for the exam anyway. So after talkin for a bit and feelin really stupid, Ming hangs up. (He said that people saw me at school and told the supervisor that and they got all worried cause in their eyes I had suddenly disappeared...and they probably thought I was raped or something...) Also, the times I glanced on my sheet I later find were for Chemistry, not Physics. So my exam WAS in the morning. -_-
Fast forward to 12.30 (Sonny is at my house at this stage, he came over unannounced but that's just like him) - Ming calls me again. And he says "apparently you may be able to sit the exam if it's on the same day". And then AGAIN I'm like "damn" and "cool" at the same time - on one hand, I get a chance to sit it, yay - but on the other hand, I don't really want to, and I'm pretty screwed anyway. After much deliberation I decide not to give it a shot mainly bcause I didn't want to...but I don't know what I'm gonna tell my mum cause we paid a lot of money to sit those exams. -_- (Also I read on the sheet that I won't normally be allowed to take an exam once it's over...and also read that if I miss an exam without a good reason I won't be given a grade in the subject...but that's all speculation)
So Ming gave me a choice so now I feel really stink. -_- Well at least this exam I missed was a resit and I passed it last year (barely) - but I still feel kinda stink. Garrr. Not feeling good.
And I know my brother's gonna blame me playin on the computer all the time but honestly that's not it - I was just really stupid this morning - I should have properly checked exactly what time it was, not just glance at it and assume that the exam was in the afternoon. I suppose subconsciously I probably didn't want to do it but still...
GARRRRRRRR
Learn from my lesson everybody. CHECK YOUR EXAM TIMES 5 TIMES. Then DOUBLE CHECK, THREE TIMES. Don't miss an exam. It's not good.

Third to last exam was today - AS Chemistry Practical, which was an amazing amount of fun. There's no way I'm going to beat my last year's mark (of 40 something percent -_-) cause I had six months to study...but I left it to the last day. And then I didn't do it.
But, after the practical which was fun for me because I took it as a fun experiment and playing around with chemical thingies, I bring you:
::Fun Things To Do While Having A Chemistry Exam::
1. Stop and listen to everyone doing the exam (except for yourself) make tinkley noises with their glass stirrers hitting on their beakers. The whole class will exponentially erupt into a frenzy of stirring in the least efficient manner as so to prolong the "tink tink tink" of glass against glass. Proceed to wisely crush your powder that you were meant to dissolve, thus not making any crazy tinkley noises. Laugh at the fools. HAHAHAHAH
2. Create a fireball when it's your turn to use the bunsen burner. Make sure you've never used matches before, and it's been six months since you've touched a bunsen burner. Watch the resulting flame glory!
3. Combine all the chemicals you're given into one big smelly pile of liquid.
4. When the instructions say "gently warm" your chemical, open the air hole for your bunsen and burn the motherfucker till it pops like crazy and gives off this pungent gas.
Yes. And I was sitting right up the front, right in front of the examiner. And it just so happened that they got to observe the person who wasn't going to truly bother...heh heh heh. I think Dr. Thomas found it rather amusing though.
Anyway. Yes, two more exams. I'm sick of them already, so so so sick of them.

My brother bought Singstar. It arrived today (this Courier guy knocked on the door and woke me up at 9.00 in the morning...) and when he got home he broke into my mum's closet (OOOH NAUGHTY - but I'm the pioneer of the breakings in...but that's another story) and ripped out the PS2 and we tried Singstar, just to make sure he didn't waste $90. It's kinda funny. I'm really bad at it. I think the microphone hates me.
Yes.
Yes.
Thoughts for now:
1. If you run in a walking race, are you disqualified? (I think there's a good reason that walking isn't an Olympic sport.)
2. It's way more fun to sneeze on people than you'd imagine. I mean, I spent the two hours in my exam today snivelling and generally feeling very disgusting having to yet again wipe my runny excretions all over myself...but on the way home I sneezed on a junior. The look on their face was priceless...though I probably gave them my EVIL ASIAN VIRUS.
Viruses are smart. They'd never take over the world by pure force, I mean they can't even lift a small rock. So they use us people to spread them like spreadable butter..all over the world, in all people. And then they kill us. Bastards!

One thing I hate is people who degrade themselves and very directly (but not always intentionally though I always notice) insult you.
Example:
Last year. Khay Shern. I walk up to him, Cambridge Exam results were coming out. I initiate conversation, ask about his marks. He says "oh they're not very good".
I later find out he got a 98% in Maths.
I got a B.
So if 98% isn't very good, what the hell is a B? Horrenous?
Just, a thought.

Uh, I don't know why but one of my posts just changed to "u suxors". I deleted it. THE BASTARD WHO IS HAXXING MY ACCOUNT STOP IT.
Sonny is here at my house. He spent the night cause we were studying for the Maths exam...which is today.
Sonny says: "I have studied for maths at Henry's house :)"
Yes. He slept in my mum's bed.
And also, uh, yes. It's cold, my house sucks it's all old and cold-like.

Just came back from the Physics A Level practice exam. And I must say I am surprised at the effectiveness of my last minute study which I did yesterday - I pretty much understood most of the stuff (since I covered most of the stuff, except for this pressure difference stuff which I'm not sure I got correctly or not
So my hopes for 100% are as usual destroyed, but an A would be nice. (The thing is though, whenever I feel that I did well in something more often than not I screwed up badly, so we'll see)
That's not what I wanted to say...oh yes. Exam supervisors are always really unnerving...when they slowly pace past you and watch you suffer as you wipe your nose with your hand and leave your nose excretions all over your hand and pants where you wipe your hand. And do they offer you a tissue, oh poor exam candidate? No. Their "supervising" is waaay too important - you know, any minute now, one of those bastards are gonna cheat and the supervisor's gonna fucking take them down JUST LIKE THAT. In case you can't tell, I laced the last sentence with sarcasm. It would have been nice if the supervisor had offered me tissues. (I know, I could have put my hand up and asked but dammit the supervisor walked past like 200 times, and I was really busy doing a physics exam)...
It's like they don't trust me. Why don't you trust me?! I'd never cheat in an exam!
*slowly shuffles cheat sheet away*

The practical was...fun yet crappy at the same time.
Crappy part first, there goes my aim of 100% (which was a ridiculous aim anyway but it was fun to aim at that) - I lost at least two marks because I DIDNT MAKE THE GRADIENT NEGATIVE AND STUFF. Also, it was really really crappy having to try and set up a whole experiment, boss clamps and all in the morning when it's quite cold and your hands and joints are under the effect of synovial fluid dysfunction. Dexterity is not a trait associated with numbness.
The fun part however was actually doing the experiment and getting a nice straight graph. Through the experiment and the bobbing springs in beakers of water I was really skeptical that I was doing things correctly. But the graph at the end made up for all of it.
VGmix is weird, it bans me, on and off, intermittently. It's like a schitzo. Actually I'd love to have a multiple personality - and to some extent I probably do, and I think everyone else does too. They had a name for it I think...uh...m - something....something...ah that's it, moods. No exams for two days but...I don't know what I'm gonna do I'm...I'm...my head it hurts too many things going on at once. I think I'll go sit and watch the backyard now.

Hmm. The proxy server that I've been using on and off has decided it doesn't like my blog. This message, (and some stuff in Arabic which I assume is the same thing) appears:

Damn Americans make things so much harder for the rest of the world.
I mean, I'm not trying to be countryist, but with a country with a leader who think's he's the prodigal second coming to "cleanse the world of the horrible horrible axis of evilness which for some miraculous reason excludes America and its weapons of mass destruction", it's really hard for me not to have an instant bias. But (I'm not sure if I've already posted this rant before, but oh well) my hatred for America comes from a long long observation. Pre-war. Pre 911 (and again, I don't mean to be a shit but boo hoo you lost big towers, who gives. Many people in Africa lose their lives every day I don't see anyone else moaning about it. Very hypocritical to only feel the suffering when it directly affects you.)
Um, where was I...oh yes. Why I hate America.
1. They (majority that I've met and base my opinion on) are stubborn like cocks. Examples are:
-Imperial/metric system. There is a very good reason why THE REST OF THE WORLD uses the metric system. It's because our whole fucking number system is in base 10, and so is the metric system. Of course, being American and all they're such a big and important country that it doesn't matter what the rest of the world thinks, America is always right. This leads to retarded tourists who ask questions like "1.5 litres of L&P? How many gallons is that?!"
-Driving. Why oh why is America driving on the left? Is it just to spite Europe? I am quite disappointed Taiwan and Japan joined America in this (and probably some other countries too - but all of them probably got bribed) - but..you know, you'd save a lot of people who travel internationally who die in car accidents which come about from frequent changes in road side. Maybe.
-Light switches. ..Why up? Why fight gravity? Why?!
-Dating method (no, not the romantic interpersonal kind) - Most of the rest of the world uses the convention Day - Month - Year. Why aren't you?
-Spelling/English. There is a very good reason why English is called English. It's because it comes from England. Now, why America has the authority to completely fuck it up I have no idea. A lift? Is it because people couldn't remember how to spell elevator? And what's with this lazy dropping of double letters and letters, like in colour and kidnapped?
America comes off to me as the "voraciously independent and rebellious pimply-faced angst teen who wants to make a stand against the violent oppression upon their "creativity" and "freedoms". I mean, goddammit kid, we put food on your family, leave us alone. -_-
2. You stick your nose in other people's shit. I bet 911 really woke you guys up, huh? I mean, I'm very sorry that you lost people and all that but is that what it really takes to get you to start thinking about terrorism? Like Maddox's opinion on Christopher Reeve I think you are being a shit. I believe, and this is probably mostly wrong but it wouldn't surprise me either if I was correct, that America's only going after terrorists for it's own sake and not on anyone elses. "Look, our little trade corrupted building got bombed! Let's make sure we can keep all the money in America and kill all the other terrorists! Who gives a fuck if we're going against the UN, we'll do it anyway!" Without 911 would America have suddenly gone "OH MY GOD THERE IS TERRORISM LETS GO KILL IT?" I bet not. Oh wait, that wasn't my original point.
Like, Israel and Palestine peace talks. Why is it suddenly very special when an American President goes over there to try and talk with them two? Is it any of your business that they are fighting? I mean, hell, you probably make a killing selling both sides weapons or something. And Vietnam. May I ask, what the hell? And most recently, Iraq. Why did you all of a sudden decide to go after Iraq? Weapons of mass destruction? You should be bombing the crap out of yourselves first. Because Saddam was being an "evil dicator and being righteous and just America" you go and usuper him and then place your own political shit there? I bet you were after the oil. Or maybe you enjoy bombing civilians, who knows.
Yeah, it's a lot of pent-up Anti-American anger. Don't get me wrong, I think America has it's merits too. I mean, they basically pioneered fast food. Where would we be today without the modern miracles of fast food? (Well, we'd be off our lazy ass and into the kitchen for a start but that's a different story). America after all is home of Jazz. I am eternally grateful for that. A few bad (or maybe a bit over a few) events just make you come off as a country that as my Physics teacher nicely puts, "can't see beyond its own borders".

The multichoice exams were shitty. I know you're thinking OMG MULTICHOICE ARE YOU SERIOUS and yes I'm serious, yes, but it's still hard for me. (I hate all the people who come out after exams and like look around and smirk and go OMG THAT WAS SO EASY and then you're just like...fuck. Anyway.) Yeah - the multichoice, all four answers seem correct sometimes...and other times none of them. It's really confusing...
In the morning I walked past the school to Sonny's house to study (and it really really did help...showed me I was making fucking ridiculous mistakes) and past all these people in school uniform...and I was in school uniform. Ah, I felt like such a rebel. Every time someone goes against the grain, against the tide, against the mass of students swarming in the general direction of a conglomeration of structures and facilitators that combine together to form a school, everyone looks and notices, if only for a little while.
Americal Idol is funny. All those over-emotional people who can't accept the reality that is their shitty singing. And then they get all indignant and you can't help wanting to ruin their shit, cut them up and leave them in pieces. I hope I'm here for NZ Idol. I want to be silly on TV. I hope the producers (NOTE THAT I SAY PRODUCERS NOT JUDGES, THAT BE A STORY FOR ANOTHER DAY) pick me to be silly on TV. And then I'd be like, yeah, I'm on TV.

Man, the world is so lucky I don't have the power to instantly mutilate those people whom I hate. Though it would be fun for me, probably not for the person on the receiving end.
Just had Wendy's for dinner. No other Huge Conglomerate Fast Food Company has a thing on Wendy's. Wendy's burgers are the fucking best (even though they do come to me looking a bit squashed but damn they taste grand) - and they offer awesome side dishes like Baked Potatoes!
Also, something I thought of when in the car on the way home - people assume locks mean safety. Lock your car door and theives can't get in. But what if you accidentally lock yourself in the car and burn and die? Hmm.

Today the weather sucked.
Interesting things to note:
1. I smelt quite horrible today (no, I am not a smelly person on a day-to-day basis and I have good hygiene habits...) - it was because this morning it was kinda raining and I was kinda late-ish to school so I was walking really fast...through mud and grass and crap to try and cut in front of people who obviously hadn't realised or didn't care they were late to school. It's either the mud was starting to smell really really bad or I stepped in some dogshit because while sitting in assembly I could smell it. It sucked. The smell followed me for the whole day, I couldn't seem to wash it all away. I also left mudprints on the new music room floor carpet which made me feel really bad since it was new and clean and all before I trodged onto the carpet forgetting I just walked through tons of mud...and even more worse when I found out Miss Hall had to clean it up for me...:( (I would have cleaned it up instead of her had I not had an assembly) - On an unrelated sidenote Miss Hall was in a very very nice mood today, for some reason. Must be because it's Friday, because she didn't really get very angry at me at all for leaving mudprints on the carpet, and after-school when I was kinda helping out Jo on the drums (cause she and Cas and Kate entered in the Bands section of the Talent Quest), Miss Hall came in and gave us all gingerbread cookies and muffins and cake! Yeah.
2. Had a Physics practical today. The practical was very fun, it involved balancing a weight with a magnetic force on opposite ends of a rule...and it required very very agile fingers because the voltage dials had to be adjusted so very carefully since the equipment was so sensitive. I definitely lost at least three points though, because my graph looks like poo since I got told not to do a scale break on the x axis, but I think I was supposed to. I hate conflicting teaching.
3. I've got Rahzel - "If Your Mother Only Knew" stuck in my head. *hums* I wish I could beatbox. But I'm very glad that I can:
- Play the drums!
- Sing!
- Utilise De Mouivre's Theorem to solve complex equations involving powers!
So I can live without being able to beatbox.
4. The theme to the ball is LAS VEGAS. I think what I've got this year will be fine, now I just need to go and find an Orange Hat. Someone, take me op-shopping!
5. Exams are so goddamn soon. Crunch time I believe. CRUNCH TIME. It's too late now for any kind of sane study habit so I'm just going to try (and probably fail) to cram study. Hope it all works...especially since I have other stuff to concentrate on too, such as my first Art Photography board. Damn, that means I need to take a film. o_O Good luck to everyone who's doing exams cause I won't see anyone on Monday since I have the morning off for study leave and an exam in the afternoon.

HOW COULD I FORGET!
The awesome awesome awesome Human Beatboxing that was Just-n-effect. I got a ticket for free (he came to our school to perform at lunchtime) and damn he was SOOO FUCKING GOOD. (excuse my swearing)
Honestly, he was so good. I mean, beatbox and sing at the same time? Unprecedented! Makes ME want to know how to beatbox...^_^ I didn't want to go when the bell went, and I don't think anyone else wanted to either.

Played around with the CSS stylesheet (heh heh nerd heh heh) and tried to achieve a whole new look.
Changes:
1. Background changed to white, most text to black/red.
2. THE NERD! Hurrah.
3. Something else, I can't remember.
If anyone can figure out how to move the main column over to the left more please tell me. I don't know whether it's under padding or margin and whether the sidebar has been padded or the main column has been padded....o_O

Hmm. I wish I knew lots of coding stuff so I could make my blog look RIDICULOUSLY COOL AND AWESOME. But I guess I'll have to settle for that blue (I changed it just to be different from Charles, the bastard) and the nerd in the corner. Who makes it quite hard to read the linkbar. I'm sure you'll all get over it and/or help me out with this coding crap.
1. No Assembly tomorrow morning! HURRAH!
2. Band practice today was wicked. I swear my new drumsticks made me so much better. If you want me to back that up you could ask Thomas. Maybe.
3. Exams soon. I'm pissing myself in fear. (Or not really, I'll take it one exam at a time I decided since it's too late for any normal kind of study. But then again, since when have I been orthodox?)

Man, it's such bad weather outside it's not funny.
Random sidenotes, I'm entered in many competitions this year: what with the Rockquest and all and today I found two others to enter - Battle of the Bands (which the Howick heats are held at Aviemore Drive so that's really convenient) and the Play It Strange New Zealand Secondary Schools Songwriting Competition...see, cause I figure the more competitions I enter in the higher the odds are that I'll win at least one of them.
The School Ball this year is at the Alinghi Base in the Viaduct or something. Dunno who I'll ask to go with this year. Hmm. Suggestions are welcome, post away on the tagboard or leave a comment.
Anyway, the weather is dismal, I don't feel like going to Orchestra as usual and I'm feeling lazier and lazier every day. I mean, I just want to sit around, talk to people, have time to think. I mean, school days are like this - Me being forced to wake up, wolf down breakfast, leave house, run through a prison routine, go home, try to relax but then it's bedtime. Rinse, repeat. In class, people just talk and talk and talk at me but all I really wanna do sometimes is just sit down and think about what they say. I'm constantly being forced to forget the second last thing they said to remember the latest thing. And then when I actually have to remember the stuff I forgot, I get in trouble. Crap.
Anyway, life is way too fast paced. People should take the time to pee on a fence or something (I was gonna say smell the flowers but some flowers smell like crap, while everybody wants to piss on a fence). Relax! Stop stressing! If you fail the exams coming up, seniors, it'll be fine, honestly. The worst that can happen is that you won't be able to get into University. So what? Just go do a short tech course and get in that way. Saving time is over-rated, sometimes...
That's my rant for today. The weather doesn't look like it'll clear up, but I can't do anything about it. Even if it was nice outside I'd still be all loser-like in front of my computer anyways.

What show includes the following:
Retarded animals fighting.
Lame wussy weak people.
Annoying voices.
THATS RIGHT YOU GUESSED IT POKEMON
Yes, once upon a time, I liked Pokémon. And then I stopped being raped by the children's media. The quality of the storyline is obviously geared towards mentally handicapped five year olds (which brings up my problem with all other children cartoons which just drip of cheesy morals and crappy overdone themes) in which a kid with a whiny voice (the fact that he's voice acted by a woman doesn't do wonders for his credibility either). Each episode consists of him pretty much being a woman and not fighting his own battles but relying on his Pokémon whom he even dares to call friends when he forces them to fight for him. Bastard.
And the Pokemon themselves are such dumbarses. If I was one of Ash's Pokemon I'd run away as soon as he released me from the Pokeball. I'd eat him (damn Charizard was cool) or bite him or something. And I'd definitely be able to say more than my own name.
I think the Trainers should fight their own battles, not fall back on animal cruelty. Then again we all saw Ash try to throw a punch in Pokemon: The First Movie and we all know what happened. (He fell over, the dumbass...) Actually they shouldn't do things they suck at (ie try to fight) but instead go back to their houses and recite all these useless Pokemon facts.
And maybe they should have a shower and use the toilet sometime...it might stop them from smelling.

Just watched NZ Idol. What a hunk of shit it was - it was promoted they would sing a GRAND TOTAL OF FIVE SONGS EACH but half of them they had done before anyway...and Michael was really disappointing and crap. I don't give a toss who wins although I think Ben is the better singer but Michael has the white 12-year-old fanbase.

I'm going to right now check what the hell those silly "work from home" things are, the ones that keep being advertised in the paper.
Also while I'm here, quick lesson in English (ironically enough coming from me)
LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BREATHE AND BREATH.
LEARN WHERE TO PLACE YOUR APOSTROPHES.
That is all.

Interesting day. Events, in no particular order.
1. Studied physics this morning for a little over an hour - really helpful and quite a nice gentle KICK IN THE ASS REMINDER of just how much shit I have to know...which I don't already know. I'm so screwed for my AS Chemistry resit.
2. Ran into Rikky at The Warehouse. We were both shoppin for mothers day gifts. Also saw a heck load of other people, Jason, random people from school and the rec centre who I recognise. Must be the Saturday Family Shopping Day syndrome. (Me and my brother got my mum chocolate...for mother's day of course)
3. Bought - A PAIR OF DRUMSTICKS! YAY! (I mean it's sad enough that I'm a drummer without drumsticks, let alone a drum kit. ...damn it being costly and all.) Put me back a good $20.00 but they look cool so hopefully they will make up for my lack of elite skills. Also bought a NIN CD from The Warehouse.
4. My brother and Jared earnt a lot of money busking.
5. I have so much work to do but I can't help playing Unreal Tournament 2003...with the RPG mod and all. -_-
6. No band practice today but that's cool. At least now I have drumsticks.

::The Plight of the Reformed Asian::
Yes, it is a sad thing indeed. If you know not what I am talking about let me explain.
---
Once upon a time, there was a magical land where people were very happy and courteous and everyone was respected and stuff. Among them they lived peacefully with their nice differences complementing each other to create a unified whole identifiable as New Zealand. But then along came the UNREFORMED ASIAN CROWD. Now, let me make this clear. Most Asians I know lie within the Reformed Asian crowd. That is, the grouping which moved to New Zealand not to make the rest of us look like arses, but to actively participate in the cultural gathering that is New Zealand. These people know what the Treaty of Waitangi is, the history of New Zealand and Maori culture.
Now, the UNREFORMED ASIAN CROWD. You can spot an Unreformed Asian by their poor manners, lack of social consideration and downright just being plain stupid. Rather than try to describe all the traits, I'll highlight the major ones with case studies.
::CASE STUDY ONE - That guy who always walks the opposite way to me on the way home from school::
From far away you may think he's a reformed Asian. BUT NO! That is merely a facade. This is the real unreformed stuff, the one that makes all of us who know better cringe. He wears white, has a really strange smile around all the time and spits on the floor on a whim. He immediately just looks really stupid. Now, us Reformed Asians don't need any more stupid looking Asians. We're already having a hard enough time.
::CASE STUDY TWO - The driver from overseas who probably faked their license::
You're driving along the road when suddenly BANG here comes screaming a BMW in front of you and cuts you off just like that. A quick glance at the driver's seat reveals that it's a snotty Asian with the courtesy and manners of a pig. Obviously, the driver's been too lazy to read the road code or can't read the road code, shown by the lack of knowledge of the rules of the road. Us Reformed Asians don't really need more fodder for the "Asian Driver" line. I swear this impacts on our insurance or something...
::CASE STUDY THREE - The obnoxiously loud Asian student who doesn't work in class::
Now, I promote cultural diversity and continuation of tradition and all. But there is kind of a limit I think. The limit is when you yell out really loud in groups of three in any other Asian language and dance around and don't make an effort in class but just sit there yabbering loudly in an Asian language, distracting and/or irritating people who actually go to school to learn.
I can't think of any other cases but I'm sure there's more. Anyway, these Unreformed Asians are giving us Reformed Asians a bad name. So how do you tell a Reformed Asian from a non reformed one?
1) An Asian at an ANZAC commemoration service without a camera. It is very important they are cameraless, or the chances are that this Asian is only looking for holiday photos and was wondering what the crowd was all about.
2) They smile and greet people they don't know on the street. A friendly hello, a warm smile - you won't get those from the unreformed.
3) Use of any of the following words: bugger, mate, marae
4) They support the All Blacks.
Yeah. I'm not sure what I've typed above makes sense cause it's almost 11.00 pm (SHOCK HORROR) but regardless I'm very tired so...I take no responsibility for what I've said.

What is the difference between Michael Jackson and a grocery bag?
One is made of plastic and is dangerous for children to play with, the other is used to cart groceries
But while it's "period 1" and I have "Art Photography", I decide to have another:
Online Personality Test galore!
Kingdomality.
http://www.cmi-lmi.com/kingdomality.html
Your distinct personality, The Shepherd is to tend to your human flock. You understand the needs of those for whom you are responsible. Shepherds are vigilant and reliable. You realize your obligation and commitment to the well being of those entrusted to your care. Shepherds are very dependable. You engender a feeling of comfort and stability to those within your charge. On the positive side, Shepherds can be empathic, caring, understanding, practical and realistic. On the negative side, you may be manipulative, close-minded and sentimentally rigid. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms.
Numerology. (This is a long fat one, I'll just bold the things that coincidentally I think are right. The rest is bullshit.)

Name Analysis
Expression: 8
The Expression number shows us who we truly are, what we came into this life already knowing. This is where we feel most comfortable and how we automatically act. We attract people and situations to us that require our Expression so that they can further evolve. In this way we play the role of teacher. Naturally we are attracted to occupations that we resonate to, so the Expression number can be a strong factor in our choice of a career as well. Our Expression is the vehicle, with all its virtues and vices, that drives us along the path of our Destiny. It is the essence of our identity.
Business, power and money are in your blood. You are the steadfast executive who attains their goals through hard work, amazing courage and untiring determination. NB: That's wrong. Me and amazing courage are not very good friends. People elect you to lead them because of your aura of control and confidence. You like things BIG, and secretly, you like them lavish. Physical strength and stamina make you a likely sports enthusiast as well. (Uh, not even.) Your expression will most likely find you financially supporting others in some way.
Soul Urge: 6
The Soul Urge number has also been called Heart's Desire and Spiritual Urge. It is our secret, innermost longing. Our dream, our motivation, the fuel that energizes our journey. The Soul Urge number reveals what we secretly strive to be or accomplish. Some have said that this number tells us what we have been in previous lifetimes, the accumulated growth of our soul.
Love, giving it and getting it is your main concern. You are drawn to people and situations that allow you to express your ability to harmonize, heal and sympathize. Family relationships take up much of your attention as you always like to know what's going on, and you are good at resolving conflict. Beauty and the arts or decorating are also ways that you may express yourself.
Persona: 11
The Persona number describes the way we appear to the outside world, the first impression people have of us. We may not even be aware of how we are perceived by others because we are so often focused on our inner world, and many times the inner does not match the outer. Persona gives us a peek at some hidden talents we have. The talents that we use to get along in the world and in some instances, protect us from it. It is likened to a bag of tools (jewels) that we carry with us along the way.
Some may detect a glow around you and feel drawn to you by fate. The glow is a reflection of the refined and inspirational energy that courses through you, seemingly from other worlds. You may be an artistic genius or any other kind for that matter, but one thing is for sure, you have a powerful effect on anyone who enters your life. You are not afraid to recreate yourself as is necessary at your accelerated pace and other people follow your example becoming more of who they really are. (Nb: I can't agree with that glow shit. Unless it's true and someone can back it up.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Natal Analysis
Personal Year: 11
This "master number" period is highly charged, and you are illuminated by it. You are more noticeable now and may attract attention to any talents you have been cultivating. (Seems plausible but I'm not 100%) Inspiration is available to you now, and it is likely that you will use it in some creative capacity. You may be required to make quick decisions at this time because things are happening so quickly. Adventure and excitement abounds, and it is a powerful time to use positive thinking and creative visualization techniques. You are very intuitive now, and may even have experiences with clairvoyance. (Clairvoyance? Uh, no.)
Personal Month: 7
This is a good month to read, study and acquire information. Whatever has begun can be perfected now. Start meditating in the mornings. Don't tell anybody what you are working on. Rest up for next month you go public!
Personal Day: 11
Today is a good day to make like an angel and bless somebody! You are inspired and surrounded by white light so wear rainbow colors and listen to your intuition. Spiritual things are flowing smoothly today. (You won't catch me wearing rainbow colours, ever.)
Destiny: 3
The Destiny number describes the life lessons that we have come here to learn. It reveals to us the path we must take, and the role we must play to fulfill our mission. Often our choice of career is based on this vibration, and if not, then it will manifest through avocational pursuits. We may attract people and experiences into our lives that mirror the traits of this number for us, so that we may develop into our highest potential. We don't always welcome our life lessons, so it is a possibility that we may even feel an aversion to the characteristics of our Destiny number in other people, and we may ourselves act the opposite. In spite of the many ways we may choose to react to this force within us, we have been gifted with all of the talents and energy needed to fulfill our Destiny.
You are freedom loving and creative. You are drawn to all that is beautiful, luxurious and expressive, as these are inherent in your own spirit. You are here to express, to imagine and create. Optimism, confidence and focus of ambition are qualities to develop and use in order to live in accord with your destiny. You bring beauty, hope and joy to your world. (...and the hippies rejoiced.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cycles
The destiny is divided into 3 great cycles, each governing us for specific durations throughout our life. The Seed cycle begins at birth and colors our experiences through childhood and adolescence. During the year nearest our 28th birthday, we move into the Fruit cycle which remains throughout the middle part of our life until the year nearest our 56th birthday, and the Harvest cycle carries on from there. Taken all together, the cycles show us our particular path that will lead to the fulfillment of our destiny.
Seed: 9
When the 9 is the seed cycle it can be a very difficult time, because the requirement of selflessness is an antithesis of the natural desire for validation and acknowledgment. The child usually feels very alone, and set apart from the rest of the family. Sometimes they feel as if they were adopted, or they are aware at a young age that their relationship to their family is very temporary. Nine's usually set off in search of their destiny at a young age as they feel much older than their years.
Fruit: 5
Freedom, change and restlessness keeps you spinning through this cycle. Opportunities should be explored and stagnation avoided. Many journeys and experiences are likely, and you may feel as though you have lived 100 lives in this one. It may be hard to find an occupation or career that will allow the free movement you require. There is likely to be much travel, if only in your mind, and romances will many, although they all probably seem to have a just a few of the traits you're looking for.
Harvest: 7
Peace and quiet abound. It is time to contemplate and philosophize on the meaning of life, spirituality, and the self. While it is good to have someone to bounce your findings off of, it will likely be a single kindred soul, or even a loyal pet who will understand your need to "know".
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pinnacles
The four pinnacles reveal the high spots or heights of attainment that we are likely to encounter as we move along the path of our life. The 1st pinnacle lasts from birth to around age 28. The 2nd pinnacle lasts for 9 years after that. the 3rd pinnacle lasts 9 more years, and the 4th pinnacle carries on through the rest of our life. The peak of the pinnacle is reached during the next 1 personal year. Pinnacles are like sudden inheritances from a benevolent aunt, they can transform the prevailing energies completely and suddenly. It is useful to look ahead and prepare for our pinnacles so that we can maximize their gifts to us and shape them into the most positive manifestation.
First Pinnacle: 5
The emphasis is on expansion through the mind, through stimulants, or through sensual exploration. Love affairs during this time will be intense and plenty. One may lead to marriage if it is stimulating enough to deter you from all of the likely temptations coming your way. (Love affairs? o_O)
Second Pinnacle: 3
Money, travel, friends and mind expansion are all highlighted and a birth of some kind is likely to occur, either a literal child-birth, the birth of an artistic creation, or the re-birth of the self on a higher level.
Third Pinnacle: 8
Good judgment, practical decisions and disciplined efforts are magnetizing abundance and prosperity to you during this period of accomplishment. Business and material success is very possible at this time, so think big!
Fourth Pinnacle: 7
This is the pinnacle of the sage or the wise woman. Life is quiet and peaceful as it's meaning unravels easily before you. It is time to contemplate, analyze and create your own unique philosophy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Challenges
The three challenges show us the major influences demanding our attention during specific sections of our lifetime. The 1st challenge influences the years from birth to age 28. The 2nd challenge takes over from age 28 to 52, and the third affects us our whole life. Challenges shape our attitudes and can affect our health. These vibrations that challenge us, cause either an exaggeration of the associated qualities or a lack of them, both of which are extremes which need to be brought into balance.
First Challenge: 4
4 challenge children are usually given a lot of duties and disciplined into schedules and organization to the point that the creative impulse is quieted to a whisper. As teenagers four's are the one's who have the next ten years of their life planned; what profession, which college etc... (uh, not really, I still have no true idea what I'm doing next year.) They have their beliefs and values down pat and could show you the file they have them written in. Fun and creative expression are the balancing agents for four, which are found in the three and the five.
Second Challenge: 2
This is the challenge of sensitivity and self-sacrifice. Two's look for needs to be filled in others and attempt to fill those needs while ignoring their own, all with the hope that someone will take care of them in return. It is possible that a two challenger can manifest just the opposite as well and be preoccupied with their own needs, feelings, desires, beliefs to the point that other people are only here to fill their endless requirements. Balance is found between the independence of 1 and the self-expression of 3.
Third Challenge: 2
The challenge of the "thin-skinned". These challenge holders take everything personally and can easily turn tiny little mole-hills into you know whats. They can seem to become translucent, absorbing each new idea and each new person into themselves, becoming them in the process. The 2 is the number of the psychic, however, the challenge is to maintain one's own identity while accepting the powerful, empathic abilities of the 2. The main focus of the 2 challenge holder is themselves, their feelings, their wants, their lack of satisfaction. Their outer behavior is geared to keeping the peace and taking care of others while secretly hoping they will be taken care of in return. The remedy for this challenge is to become an equal partner in relationships. To realize that their ideas and opinions are valid and to stop flattering love out of people. (NB: Most of that I think is right. I like, absorb personality traits and stuff from all around to complement myself. It's like lego, what with all the blocks and all.
*phew* that was a long one.
Learning Style
http://www.howtolearn.com/personal.html
You are a 44% Visual Learner, a 44% Auditory Learner, and a 11% Kinesthetic Learner.
You think in images or pictures. It is as if you have a movie camera in your mind. You process what you hear or read and translate it into images in your brain. When you want to recall what you have learned, you simply glance upward and look at the image that you have stored as a “Picture Screen”. This process is like going to the movies and then telling a friend what you have seen. Your memory is taking place by reviewing the pictures from the movie and then easily talking or writing about the story line (or main points of the story). Your speech patterns will represent exactly how you think, i.e., "I see", "I get the picture", "Let's focus on this", etc. Brain research tells us that visual or picture recall is faster and more efficient when taking written tests. Therefore, visual learners tend to receive the highest scores on written exams.
You learn best by hearing or listening. Auditory learners do not necessarily make pictures in their minds, as do Visual learners, but rather filter incoming information through their listening and repeating skills. Of the three learning style preferences, the Auditory learner is the most talkative and has more difficulty writing. As an Auditory learner, you have the ability to easily recall what people say, tell wonderful stories, and tend to solve problems by “talking” about them. Your excellent hearing and listening skills are what make great musicians, disc jockeys, psychologists, etc. Your speech patterns will represent exactly how you think, i.e., “I hear you”, “That clicks”, “That sounds right”, “That rings a bell”, etc.
The Room (stuff I dont bold is rubbish.)
http://www.jamesgang.com/jamesgang/room/roommind.html
Your Attitude
Your choice of the pounding waves reveals a personality attracted to power and the pursuit of extreme athletic and sensual experiences. This may manifest itself in the insane undertaking of the Hawaii Ironman, or the more pleasurable goals of using a massage showerhead. Whatever -- the everchanging highs & lows of the ocean mirror your mood swings. At times you are like an uncontrollable force of nature. Your temperment is best described as dreamy, lulling, churning, foamy, sensuous, sexy, emotional, flowing, powerful, strong. You bury secrets in unknown depths of yourself like a treasure to be revealed. At times you harbour dark thoughts, fear drowning (as any sane person does) and may be repressing a secret desire to star on Baywatch.
Your Lover
Off beat syncopation may not be the most recognized form of passion, but it reflects a certain sophistication that put you and your special friend on a plane that is airy, light and just slightly over the edge. You both enjoy the finer things in life and will continue in your search for new experiences - together. (Uh, what?)
Your Relationships
Revealing a dramatic person who revels in the attention of a wide circle of acquaintances. This seemingly attractive trait presents a challenge as friends are pushed out on the stage of life, standing exposed with unexpected juxtapositions ready to elicit laughter or recognition. May also be used as a protective shield between relationships, eg. room divider. (I don't get this one either.)
Your Problems
Problems come and go in your life but they do not cause you undue stress. You relax in the knowledge that you have an enduring, attractive and stylish response to the detritus of life. Your supreme confidence frees you from convention. Problems need not be hidden from sight but rather are handled in a transparent, translucent and effortless manner. You are on your way to achieving guru status for your wise handling of life's problems. (..are you serious? This can't get any, uh, wronger...)
Your Future
Your future is that of a visionary, imagining scenarios for the next millennium. You may find yourself at home in an expansive industrial space,or marking time in a future warped out of a Douglas Coupland novel. Guard against your tendency for depression at your core. It is pronounced and evident to all. While this could cause consternation your off-beat sense of yourself redefines your concave, pillowy body as a life saving buoy fed solely on peanut butter thumbprint cookies. Your hands continually caress your external self causing others to accuse you of an inflated ego, but you know that time will pass and prove you to be right on.
That one wasn't very good.
What's In A Name?
http://www.kabalarians.com/index.cfm
Your Birthpath / Inner Potential of: September 5, 1987
Within you is a high-spirited, active quality with the inclination to be free to express your energies in artistic pursuits, drama, entertainment, and humour, or in promotion. You could excel along any avenue that does not restrict your spontaneous and expressive nature through too much attention to detail. Your imaginative, innovative potential could find expression in literary composition or journalism. Contact with people is necessary in the expression of your purpose. You require the opportunity to express cosmopolitan, optimistic, generous, and buoyant qualities to bring inspiration and happiness to others.
Originality in self-expression is your keynote, the highest evolution being the ability to lift and educate others to a better way of life. Success in educating others requires in-depth understanding of people, comprehension of the principles upon which life is based, and self-discipline over such qualities as intolerance, argumentativeness, or self-centredness. The emotional power within you should be directed into constructive channels to allow you to fulfil your destiny of uplifting and leading people to the realization of new and basic truths of life.
Finding time to be on your own, preferably in the out-of-doors, would allow you to think about life, to plan your efforts, and to write down your thoughts and ideas. Cultivate your inborn philosophical and scientific interest through comtemplating the phenomena of nature, the cycles of time, and the universal power of life that expresses through all living things.
Learning to concentrate and finish what you start would teach you patience, the joy of accomplishment, and self-confidence. Otherwise, you would be subject to a scattering influence that will thwart the completion of your undertakings.
NAME
The name of Henry creates an overly-sensitive nature which causes you to sense and feel far more than you can understand or put into words. You have a deep, artistic, and creative side which shows through a love for music and literature. Writing is a more natural mode of expression for your deeper thoughts and feelings than the spoken word. You have an ability to concentrate and work intently on anything which holds your interest. However, you prefer to avoid routine, monotony, and mental tasks.
Your combined names of Henry Chong gives you the desire for peace and harmony in association, but they cause you to suffer through personal and material losses, and shattered ideals. These names create a difficulty in retaining your individuality because of your emotional involvement in the feelings of others. You are brought into contact with a great many people to whom you are required to give much, but you receive little in return, often not even appreciation. Your efforts are scattered through a lack of perseverance to finish what you start or because your involvements prevent you from following many of your plans through to a successful conclusion. Mental confusion could result, and your health could be affected through the nervous system.

I went to the Warehouse with my mummy just then. Two points:
1) I found a great oxymoron - 100% biodegradable plates that were fantastic for the environment, being made out of potatoes and all. The only drawback is that...they wrapped it in plastic.
2) I bought Phantom Planet - California, the single. Not for $5. Not for $2. Not for $1. Not for $0.50. But for $0.45.
CRAZY EH
Yeah. I'm quite happy now.

ALSO: Luke from NZ Idol - I just saw him on Flipside this afternoon. Goddamn he's so Maori it's not funny. Like...I'd imagine he would join that arsehole march down Harbour Bridge (note this is my opinion so feel free to debate). Um back to Luke, he has the whole "yous fellas are the great!" thing going on.
And the Harbour Bridge thing. If they're protesting about seabed and foreshore, WHY ON THE FUCKIN HARBOUR BRIDGE? LIKE, WAY TO FUCK UP THE TRAFFIC YOU CUNTS. No offense, I appreciate the fact they have a right to protest and all this other shit but why irritate the shit out of motorists? They are after all in a car and could easily just break all of yous legs.
Hmm.

We, (by "we" I mean "me and Rikky") "won" (by "won" I mean that we aren't sure whether we actually win or not) our heat in Batten Idol this morning in House Assembly.
Yeah, we're not sure if we win since we were the only ones doing it on that day...
And also we only learnt the song yesterday night and I must say I was quite impressed that I could remember the words given like 5 hours notice ^_^. Seemed to be well recieved by the crowd...and I got people clapping which is probably like, the only time in my whole 7th Form year I'll be able to do that.
Yup. Nothing else interesting of note, other than Richard is being all mopey and stuff or something, I don't know the details but I hear that he did crappy in a test or his sadness is test related. (As to what kind of test I have no idea but I doubt it's cricket.)

I just beat my brother (William) at Chinese Chess just then, checkmating him with three pawns. He says it was a stalemate but I don't care, I still won. I couldn't stop thinkin of Dynasty Warriors while playing chess. -_-
In other news, songs I'm listening to at the moment:
Hoobastank - The Reason (where the singer is very obviously auto-tuned, which leads to dubiousness about his ability as a singer...but it's a nice song anyway)
and;
I'm grabbin the soundtrack to Gitaroo Man, a fantastic Playstation 2 man. It's indescribable, you just have to play it to find out for yourself. Highly highly recommended.

I have a really bad headache which is either from sleeping too little or too much (damn you balance!) but today I thought about..stuff. Here's a little snippet of what goes on in my mind.
STEP ONE: Exposition
Man, now Grace has a blog...and Rikky has a blog...and...all these other people have a blog. Did I start that all? I think I started a trend! But I wouldn't have a blog if my brother didn't have one. And I'm sure he got it from somewhere...and so forth. NOW if what Christianity says is right, then we are all descendant from Adam and Eve - which makes me white.
So it's Adam and Eve's fault that my brother made a blog which made me make a blog which resulted in me starting a trend.
But Adam and Eve were made by God.
So it's God's fault.
Hmm.
LINK TO A GREAT QUOTE FROM A GREAT VIDEOGAME (i know what you're thinking, video game, har har)-
"Don't blame me, blame yourself, or God."
How true.
Isn't it so easy just to blame someone else?
I blame that on God.
See, the reason why that quote works so well is because well, if you do believe there is a God, then it's his/her/it's fault. If you don't, then it's yours. It's not my fault, ever.
Hurrah! Now I no longer feel guilty about kinda making my brother slightly late this morning to work.

Band practice today! Finally! Hurrah.
Well, apart from the fact that I still suck and I blame John (the singer) not being there and the high hat (which refuses to return to its original state after my foot has been lifted), it was good. Especially good after Thomas' neighbour started complaining...
And then his neighbour called the sound police people cause he's a dick like that (according to Thomas and his sister.)
And then this sound guy came up to his house.
Then he was all like "I received a sound complaint"
And we were all like "oh really"
And then he was like, "play something with the door closed".
So I did.
Then he laughed because it wasn't really all that loud and most definitely legal.
So to cut a long story short, our band is so hardout that we got a noise complaint. We're badasses we are.
YEAH!

Few notes:
My mum is still shitty about the extra $10 we spent. ($8 for a tape, $1 each for apricot sauce and barbeque sauce on the two pizzas respectively)
I am sick. But I am still working. Hmm.
Richard and my mum had a fight two nights ago at 2:20 am cause he wanted the car keys to drive to his girlfriend's house but my mum didn't let him for obvious safety and legal reasons (he's on his restricted. 2.20 am is quite a bit past 10.00 pm). While fighting they woke me up, tired and angry, which didn't really help me as I had work the next day.
Yesterday my mum wouldn't leave the Rec Centre where I worked until I got a jumper from the Richard that works at the rec centre (this Richard is not my brother).
No band practice yet. -_-

Couple of notes, just for now:
1. I believe I am being chased by a praying mantis...one was in my hair the other day when I was in front of the computer (which confuses the shit out of me, how the hell does a praying mantis end up in a house with all windows and doors closed anyway??) and this morning on the way to work there was one on the car window...
2. Work! I'm getting paid! It's not too bad! Today was alright, other than I had quite a big headache and flu thing.
3. Lots of new people at work. Notable additions:
- Annoying girl(s) who keep following me.
- Male twins (?) who like "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" from The Darkness.
- An extremely shy girl who does absolutely nothing.
- Some nine year old kid who looks exactly like Shawn Ashmore would if he was 9. Maybe.
- All these volunteers I know from school (yes you Sunny yes you.)
XD Anyway. Gunbound is down. I have a blocked yet running nose (dont ask how it works, it just does), I've heard no word from the band and I have a headache.
Oh well.
[Edit: If you dont' know who Shawn Ashmore is, think Iceman in Xmen or Xmen 2. Linky link: http://hometown.aol.com/abm614/shawn1.gif]

Easter.
HOLIDAYS!
But come, let us force upon 2000 students a religion. Smart move, Macleans College. Way to promote religious choice. Anyway, that was yesterdays news, the forced sermon. (Damn I hate those.)
Today is...EASTER! Which means...bunnies and chocolate.
I've always wondered. Why bunnies? Is it because animals that mate constantly and poo all over the place and are a huge pest in New Zealand are great reflections on people who follow the Christian faith? ...maybe. Chocolate - something that tastes so sweet but rots your teeth, makes you fat and melts in the sun?
Hmm. That's all I wanted to say.
AND ALSO "The Amazing and Death Defying Diary of Eugene Dingman" by Paul Zindel is a great book. This is the third time I've read it, after "acquiring" it during intermediate years. Each time I read it I pick up something different. Looking back it is quite funny when I read it in Form 1 and I was all like...wtf? Make love to yourself? Wet dream?
Tee hee.

TODAY'S PET HATE:
Hypocritical/stupid/annoying people.
Let's start with hypocritical.
First off - today was the school cross country (the last one I'll ever do! yay! I would in all honesty never run 6 kms for fun. What kind of person makes it their hobby? -_-) and I really suck at running being flatfooted and unfit and short and all. Well, I'm walking as fast as my wasted feet will let me and every fucking teacher I pass says something along the same lines - "RUN FASTER YOU AREN'T TRYING BLAR BLAR BLAR". It's not like I like being last or anything (not that I actually care) but I was trying. My feet still hurt while I'm typing this, I had to hobble home. And most of the teachers who said that were just standing around and haven't run 3 kms straight yet. I mean, for the teachers who did run good on them (and they didn't put us down anyway) and their encouragement was a lot better than rubbish like "YOU'RE NOT TRYING YOU SLACKERS".
Hypocriticalism and annoyance - stupid teachers that aren't even trying to run. Lazy fucks.
Stupid: Alright. On the way home with my hurt feet and all, I got to the school crossing and some scunge old bitch teacher came up to me and went "OI YOU'RE NOT GOING HOME UNLESS YOU'RE WEARING SHOES!". I should have questioned that statement but I was too tired to really care, so I just went back and sat around with Rikky for a bit. Then someone suggested that I just put my shoes on, walk past her, then take them off.
So I did.
I mean, I don't understand. My feet already hurt. I don't want to shove them into shoes you stupid old lady. I'm not degrading the school image or anything. I'm wearing the right uniform - I was in full P.E. gear, which doesn't have SCHOOL RUNNING SHOES LAST TIME I FREAKING CHECKED. In fact, I'm going to look at the school uniform webpage thing to see if somehow mistakenly everybody didn't know there were school running shoes. (According to Mr. Venter there were school running socks as well...at the start of the race he said anyone who wasn't wearing school socks - which really was everybody - would not be allowed to run. We ran anyway, the teachers enjoy watching pain.)
The school policy on P.E. uniform:
" Physical Education Uniform
All students are to wear the new royal blue shorts and polo shirts in house colours. After enrolment and placement in a house, Year 9 students and new students can purchase polo shirts in house colours. "
No mention of shoes.
Even in the photo provided (link - http://www.macleans.school.nz/school_life/images/pe_uni.jpg), none of them are wearing shoes. Except for the guy in the tracksuit but common sense dictates that shoes would (if so) only be compulsory for people wearing tracksuits. And I was just in normal non-loser P.E. gear.
So even if that dumb old lady's concern was me not wearing uniform correctly, she was being extremely stupid. If she was trying to protect my feet, it wasn't any of her business and really, my feet don't like my shoes at the moment.
Stupid - stupid teachers ask stupid things of you. Dumb fucks.
Hypocritical/stupid/annoying people.
Let's start with hypocritical.

There's a huge religious conversation/discussion right behind me. Bah it's confusing. More on that later.
Anyway, I woke up extra extra early this morning (6:30! ITS CRAZY) for no reason. I was supposed to help carry stuff for Dala in the Intercultural Club (which, may I add, I am not in.) but...there was nothing for me to carry. And then I went to do a soundcheck for the backing music for my idol performance which took me all of 5 minutes. When I did that, it was 7.30. I waited at school for an hour, doing nothing.
Blah.
I was a guest judge for Batten Idol today, it's weird sitting up the front. But I got to kinda rip into people. I could have been a lot meaner but when you think about it, this isn't just some fake construct on TV - these are real people. As fun as it would have been to say they were utter crap (which they were pretty much, except John), I didn't. Save their face. I was going to be singing today but I didn't because:
1. I'd be against John.
2. I didn't have my costume.
3. I was guest judge.
4. Matt forgot I was doing it this week.
I didn't really do much at school today to be honest. First two periods I did work and then I kinda just sat around. It was real cold too - it hailed right outside the physics classroom while we were in it and the Intercultural Club people were setting up in the amphitheatre- so they got wet. =P (and I was supposed to be helping them then ^_^)
Yeah. Anyway, my mum and my brother are busy conversing about their separate religions...while the other brother happily isn't home even though my mum painstakingly cooked dinner for him and the bastard never tells anyone when he isn't coming home.
Hmm yeah...I haven't blogged for a while. Oh well, I'm sure nobody's missing my inner thoughts.

You know what's a good song? D12 and Eminem - My Band. Fantastique song.
Also, my mum came back this morning, even though my dad said she was coming next week. Strange. -_- But she brought with her lots of revision books! I'm serious now. I have a test tomorrow. I have a test tomorrow. Physics. Must. Study.
Yea.
