Well. I don't know how many of you actually bothered to download the random remixy thing I did, the other day (I don't blame you, esp. if you're on dialup.)

But the other entries for this week's thingy closed and all the entries are in - it's actually quite amazing how different some of them are :o I highly recommend you listen to Sleepy Emp - Through the Stars, at least. Brilliant ;_; >.> I'm not gonna win against that, but it was fun anyway :D

I am feeling like utter crap today.

Wasn't feeling too flash yesterday, thought I could sleep it off and head to work today, but. No luck. Headache, throat, sneeze, urgh. I'm sure everyone knows the feeling. I had to call work too, I left a message but I still feel really bad :( I don't think I've ever called off sick before. Part of me imagines "hey you can still work" but rational over-ride says even if you do force yourself, it will be a utterly shit day and you might just infect all the kids as well.

I woke up at like, 5:30. For NO apparent reason. Here is what is happening in the world.

People elect terrorists. (Hamas ftw!)

Rah. Have a good day.

This is how I spent my day off work today.

o Wake.
o FFXI: +3 levels in Alchemy. [Subnote - SMN x4 BRD BLM is a wicked easy setup]
o Eyetoy. Unlike the dismal E I attained for Monday (because I accidentally skipped everything) I got a A+ today. I actually finished the game before time was up for the Cardio one. og noez.
o REASON. I learn to use it bettar. This is the result.

I think the most beautiful shot in Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is the one where they are in the boat and it's dusk, the coppery browns just look totally awesome.

Yes, today I got paid to play tag on ice skates at Paradice, watch Lemony Snickets for a second time, and play Singstar. Meanwhile, William and Sonny avoided being drenched in the rain with the poor 5-7 year olds who visited the zoo. Boy. That must have been fun...standing in the rain lookin for animals who aren't dumb enough to stand in the rain with them.

Have a good day!

Idle...complacent...

Irreducable...

---

Eyetoy Kinetic. Very fun. Tiring, too. Who knew air offered such resistance...

Work. Tomorrow.

FFXI.

Life is empty.

Noodles for dinner.

Talk to me :\
Road Trip.

Now, I vaguely remember watching part of this (years ago, when I was a wee impressionable lad) up to the bit where they gotta jump the bridge (which was probably a good thing, all the nudity came after).

I thought it was a good movie. Tom Green cracks me up. He's serious. Yet...not. OR IS HE you can't really tell and then he does stupid things and tis' like "lol what".

Payoff at the end was good. Rikky ruined the twist. Favourite character has to be the random skinny white guy. Bahaha.

Dariah: "Hey! What are you doing there?"
Dariah: "Carmelo asked you? You mean he's still..."
Dariah: "Yes, I am the woman he seeks. Why did I leave him? Let's just say that the hands of his clock were about to break.
Dariah: "In those days, he would do anything to make me happy. Anything! He even sold the one thing that brought us together to buy me something that would make me more happy.
Dariah: "I'm not mad about that, it's just that...I felt that if I had stayed, he would have thrown away everything -- all that he cherished, all that he was-- just for me.
Dariah: "I feared he would throw away his future for the sake of our present. Eventually, his time would have come to a stop."
Dariah: "I told him that we were like the hands of a clock... That even if we parted, we would meet again."
Dariah: "But he wanted us to stay where both hands met...Even if that meant breaking the gears that kept us in mothin.
Dariah: "Try to stop time...and you'll only break the hands of the clock."
Dariah: "Tell him that as long as we live, we will meet again--as long as the hands of the clock are moving."

Today, Richard came home (wow!) and cooked me dinner (wow!).

First decent meal I've had in like a week, what with my lack of motivation and/or cooking skills, and William being working and what have you. Cereal, as entertaining as it is, probably isn't good for you 24/7.

Today Steve (big boss at HRC) decided it would be a good idea to put me on "toilet duty" which entailed checking the toilets and canteen at regular intervals to check for the random audit people with the CPR dummy. He decided it would be a good idea, even though I am volunteering, and not getting paid. ;_; I wanted to say no, but I don't have a good reason (hey I'm lazy you should pay me for that is, unfortunately, not considered good) I don't even know CPR. But I do know that the new rules are 30 compressions 2 breaths, for all age groups including infants. Not that I would know what to do. If I was Steve I wouldn't put me in charge of "toilet duty". All I was going to do was go and get one of the leaders anyway, if I saw one of those random CPR dummies. A number is a number...here's wishing I paid more attention in P.E. Theory. I really enjoyed you know, getting changed into really short shorts, just to sit down in a classroom to listen to some tard in a South African accent mention Synovial Fluid over and over again (we get it. It's in your joints. Move on, please.)

I had a pie and a can of drink again, today. I think perhaps I should like. Prepare food in advance? ...nah that's too hard.

I should defrost some fresh bread (though the four slices left on the table don't look mouldy I do not trust them.)

A bus just went past.

Yes. I have not had a very nice last few days. I have no idea why. I am happy again. Well, not happy. Content. Neutral state.

Imagine a car. I am in neutral.

There, that wasn't too hard, was it?

Anyway. I think perhaps I shall stop blogging and instead just merely change my colour scheme once in a while, because that seemed to have generated more interest than anything else I have said in the last few days.

Have a good one!

Thanks for scrolling. :)

Though:

  • It was a rather hot and oppressive day, and I had to wear a hat.
  • I am sneezing.
  • I only had a pie for lunch. A pie, and a can of Mirinda.
  • All the cool kids picked to be in Sonny's group.
  • The pool was humid and really ridiculous.
  • I didn't get paid.

Today I feel better. Go figure.

Am I okay?

I don't have a fucking clue.

Here is an attempt at something more mundane.

---

We went to Denny's for dinner. (Triad.) Was alright I guess, really overpriced though. Reminder to not order salads again.

And then, Rio. Pearl milk tea.

Dennis is really excited and anxious and nervous, I am happy for him (even though I may not look happy, it is just like there is a battle in my head whether I should display being sad or display being happy for Dennis and as much as the happy guy tried he couldn't beat down the sad guy)

Sonny is older.

Everything is so inconsequential. Maybe it is my excuse for being unrelational and detached..... What. The fuck.

I don't even understand myself any more. I can't wait for the day when the stupid arguments in my head actually manage to manifest themselves and then i get to argue with myself all day long, now that would be a fuckin treat.
'
Sonny: I am sorry to sit there on your birthday in your car and then be sad and mopey.

In fact.

I feel pretty sorry for being alive, at the moment.

INDOMINATABLE SELF WORTH! Do you have it? I'm afraid not. I can't even spell it right.

I'm just waiting for David to come along and preach his random "man i hate depressive people" crap. LIFE IS SO GREAT IM AMAZED.

I will be waiting. I don't want your fucking pity. I don't really know what I want. I'm just fucking typing for the sake of typing, now.

So much for mundane.

---

Of course, if you ask me, I'll give the pre-conditioned answer. I hope this doesn't "affect my work" or something.

Time to practice smiling for tomorrow, you don't want to let the council down.
Experiement.

Here is a poem.

i am reborn every morning
when i rise expecting
good things from the day
getting my dose of raw reality
as the day moves along
by nightfall i crawl into bed
remembering i have been through
this kind of thing before
the almighty identity crisis

every six or seven years
it comes without fail
i am uncomfortable feeling this frail
knowing i may change on the inside
or rearrange things on the outside
i should be used to it by now
my only consolation is in knowing
i will come out of it
stonger and more self-assured than beforehand

Here it is, in Japanese.

HAVE A NICE DAY (tm) (hubbards is gonna fuck me over)

I don't think I've created enough digital diarrhea *quite* yet.

1) I am sorry, Kay Kay. I am sure you are a nice person and I do not mean to "eviscerate you in the digital domain". Maybe you really do speak like that. (What, a retard? [Dude, this is an apology you shit] {oh, sorry} [much better] )

MY THOUGHTS UPON:

Music

Music is great. Music can boost your party's statuses (fuck you get in the real world)

Um. Music is great. Music can boost your pa... [hahah you realise that doesn't work cause you typed it out? Why'd you leave it in? MAN WHAT THE HELL THIS IS LIKE STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS YOU'RE RUINING IT

nom, you did

sure

ok

TABS

----

My thoughts upon:

Clocks.

I think a world without time would be both good and bad.

Bad, for the people who sell clocks, and then have to go home, after a whole day of like, non-clock-sellering and then their wife beats them (HAH lets not be sexist women can be abusive too) and their kid shits all over their favourite shoes and then their dog runs away from home, their grandparent disowns them and oh yeah their house collapses. Clocks are not very good for these people.

Good, for the people who are trying to sell hourglasses [hey man, aren't they like a subclass of clock?]

[nah clock is a subclass of time-piece, so is hourglass]

[oh ok gotcha]

Our neighbours have never once said hi to me.

Then again, I haven't exactly ever said hi to them.

SCENARIO A:

Henry: "Hi there!"
Neighbour: *awkward reaction, stutters slightly* "um h..hi"
Henry: "I see you haven't mowed your lawn in ages! Would you like me to mow your lawn for you?"
Neighbour: "GET THE FUCK OFF OUR PROPERTY YOU ASIAN SHIT"
Henry: "I am sorry, I fail to see how my race has anything to do with my plant growth control abilities.
Neighbour: "Wow. I realise you are completely and utterly right. I apologise, please, do mow my lawn."
Henry: "Excellent, smithers. Cookies and tea after?"
Neighbour: "Why not, jolly chap!"

SCENARIO B:

Henry walks up the driveway.
Neighbour gets the mail.

SCENARIO C:

Henry whips out a katana, and cuts his neighbour out, cause they never said hi to him. It is all over the herald. The poor weapons shop down Queen Street suffers again from protesters smelling like almonds and other weird nuts (ie Macadamias) refusing to stop their "smell protest", in which they give non-manly smells to a manly store - who wants to buy a weapon of mass destruction that smells like strawberries? The effect just isn't there.

SCENARIO D:

Henry sits in front of his computer (hahah i am talking in third person) and then types the following:

SCENARIO D:

pYou're not sorry]

pyeah you're right im not sorry at all

I'm sure that nobody cares, but:

1) Reversal of colour scheme. Why?

1a) White is too happy.
1b) Black makes more sense, you know, considering:
1c) I am supposed to be a negro sign.

2) You will notice the old "blog_flame" image has been replaced by Suicide Bomber Barbie. Please invent some significant reasoning for this, other than "the background for the blog_flame image was white and I was too lazy to change it". Good examples are:

2a) The insertion of a female toy makes ironic justice.
2b) It is a symbol of commercialism's eventual self destruction.
2c) Barbie is much better than some random Photoshop crap you made up years ago.

3) How are you? I am fine. Today, instead of walking to the library and getting some books out like I had planned yesterday, I sat down and died a little on the inside. What a bother. Perhaps I shall walk there now...

4) What the hell am I using numbers for.

5) Thanks, Simon.

6) Eh, the weather outside is pretty good. I feel like taking a shower.
SUBPOINT (go ahead)

COUNTERPOINT (ok)

7) I just checked the library times for Monday, and, they are closed now. But tomorrow! I can go after work/volunteering...

8) I think volunteering will be very lame. I am extremely cynical and I will eat you, because my name is Tarurawr.

9) The last one was a FFXI in joke.

10) Ahahahah self-loathing and self-pity! Hurray! Let's have a party, you guys.

11) Below where I am entering this is the following text:
"Post and Comment Options. Keyboard shortcuts: press Ctrl with : B = bold, I = Italic, S = Publish, D = Draft, X = Insert X-Factor."

I was lying on the last one.

Hey man, What happened to the Numbers?

Why is Numbers in capitals?

(oooh lets make things seem more than they really are. GRANDIOSE! Grandiose.)

Here is my opinion on the following:

Chairs

While one may find Chairs slightly erotic, one must deduce that the primary function of chairs is to support the nether regions of a humanoid form. Chairs have obviously not been constructed with tailed animals in mind, though with the way Dog-Clothing has been progressing, a seatery for a canine may not be so far off indeed.

Windows

Windows are rather nice, because they give people a false sense of closure, captivity and control. It's kind of like "hey there's glass there nothing can go in or out" but man, you guys are so deluded. I talked to one once and he told me that the regularly lets high moving projectiles and other assorted dangers through, so watch out. Never look out. Never look in.

green

Cups

The problem with using cubs (and cups, though this is a highly controversial subject) at restaurants is you never know whether the waiter(ess) (lets not be sexist, women can do menial jobs too) washed their hands between the time period of utilising sanitary locales (ie toilets, hairdressing, what have you) and the displaying of your cutlery and other assorted eating utensils. What is to prevent them from spitting in your cup and passing it off as a high-fashion high class edible goo?

okay, now you are just typing for the sake of typing

AND SO WHAT IF I AM YOU FUCK

I hate you, you're always there in the background being a little shit

youre the one who ruins it for me

no way man, it's self inflicted

nihilistic!

shut up, stop using big words

never

fine, be that way.

Do you think the state of the world can be theorized with a simple, everyday object?

EXAMPLE ONE

The world is a ladder. People go up and down it all the time, but sometimes the ladder falls over and fucks everyone over. Case in point, the dinosaurs. They were totally screwed.

EXAMPLE TWO

The world is a sponge cake. It's full of holes, but yet it's really sweet. But if you have too much of the world, your teeth start to hurt and then you get put on a diet and then you get really annoyed. The world is not cheap, either.

EXAMPL THREE (Yes, I delibrately missed out thre e's.)

The world is a car. It may seem like you can control where you are going, but you are still following the road. Illusion of choice! HOLY COW ITS THE MATRIX unplug unplug free yourself

I wonder if you have been enlightened.

I wonder if I am just rambling on.

I wonder if I am calling out. (Batman help me please thanks)

I wonder if I am seeking attention.

I wonder.

...

Hmmm.

Have a good day.

Friday, January 06, 2006

Today, I went for a drive.

I hate other cars on the road.
"You cannot understand life and its mysteries as long as you try to grasp it. Indeed, you cannot grasp it just as you cannot walk off with a river in a bucket. If you try to capture running water in a bucket, it is clear that you do not understand it and that you will always be disappointed, for in the bucket the water does not run. To 'have' running water you must let go of it and let it run."

Do you think the entire human condition can be captured in a photograph?! (Dude that's freaking retarded, what the hell is the human condition anyway? Silence, you. )

Anyway. I googled "Really stupid pictures" today. And this is what came up.

I love the world when it's stupid, inane (yes inane not insane inane it's actually a word go look it up) and ridiculous.

Thank you.

And I hope everything goes well.
Just returned from a nice New Year's Eve gathering at Raymond's house. ...I don't think I went to one last year...but - some things just don't ever change.

Great shout out to his parents for the great feed :)

YEAR IN REVIEW.

I don't think any of the years ever are really truly substantially different. Okay, so this year there was a war in Iraq or something (or was that last year?) Wars happen every year. Idiots get elected to parliament every year. Every year, people are born, people die, the world seems pretty eternal compared to people. Why shouldn't you feel inconsequential and lost and pretty useless?

You are alive. You can do stuff. Have you seen dead people? They are not particularly interesting. You have good friends. People come and go, some things don't change (Milk...is still $3.00 across the road.) Petrol prices sky-rocket. People get angry that de-facto couples and homosexuals get rights. People fight over shellfish and other assorted marine life. Someone turns 18. Bars get healthier. Stupid songs get radio play, case in point, Crazy Frog. Exams suck, you win some, you lose some.

You fight. You argue, you brawl, you trade hate and words and then slowly, awkwardly, repent and forgive. It takes a lot. But it happens. Rifts are created, divides are carved, wounds are healed, people you meet have motives : good, bad, neutral. The more you break, the greater you bond. Work. You work, for money. You don't get paid nearly enough, or you get paid a lot for something easy. Your boss is a bastard, or he just seems that way. Who knows?

The bus ride is STILL over an hour long. Ticket prices rise. So does the minimum wage. Your brother becomes a bartender. Your other one is getting better. You play online games. It occupies you. But sometimes...you just want the real world.

The real world. It sits out there, moving the leaves on the trees, growing the lawn - you mow it occasionally now.

You learn. You learn a lot of things, programming languages, matrices, how to trick people into thinking you are good at Paper, Scissors, Rock - you learn who you can trust and who you can't, who you can depend on and who won't back down. You learn what to say, and sometimes when to not speak. You learn a rough bus timetable off by heart. You figure out the quad is really a square. You still haven't been into the General Library except for the basement.

University. You walk past people and never say hi. Everyone runs around to do their own thing.

Do you feel lost?

Sometimes. But, you meet new people. Whether you actually do anything, you realise, is up to you. Saying hi, is still pretty awkward.

You start to drive, even though on the inside it seems like you are clashing with your lifelong ambition to ride a two-wheeled mechanical device. You learn how to turn. You know how the accelerator works now (it's pretty fickle).

You buy a mobile. It's pretty cool, and pricey. Your iPod has been collecting dust. Music. You love it, still. Taste comes and goes, melodies are eternal.

Movies. You pay, and sometimes, you don't. Futuristic cyber robots, plays based on the plight of children who are too mature - people who like to abuse love for sex, one that involves a rude guy at a restaurant. You forget to watch the one with the guy in the black cape who likes nocturnal flying things.

Apparently, people can pick your ideology without truly ever sitting down and talking to you.

Dreams? There was this one that involved a toaster...

Hopes?

Fears? I am still not really a fan of worms.

Idiots still drive cars. You were involved in some guy's attempt to scare you. Bravely, you didn't flinch. Your hate level for everybody and everything rises. You talk. It lowers.

You realise this all sounds really stupid.

You stop, you go to sleep, and when you wake up:

It's the next year.

Have a good one.

Today, I watched Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Yes. Judgment. It is Americn. So it can spell itself, however it likes.)

Very cool. Makes me want to watch the First and the Third even though I have heard that they are not as good.

I thought the kid was a little too whiny at times.

Yeah. Lots of action, but, also a message.

Good.

Dammit, the year is almost at an end.

Thursday, December 29, 2005

Hello. Today was rather productive. Consumption of bread: YES.

Sonny DENNIS (and apparently me, although I don't really know how useful I am) are working on a TV series.

I am (apparently) the basis for the idiot guy.

KEN Yakitori is as usual overpriced and nice. I paid $7 for some cocktail thing it was yum, overpriced but yum. I think that sums up the whole place.

Anyway, the new year is coming soon. I will have more substantial and informative thought-pukes then.

Wednesday, December 21, 2005

Today, I got paid to watch kids sing old 80's songs, Stuart Little 3, and play Eye Toy 2.

It was rather fun. :D Eye Toy 2 is really cool. I want one now >.>

Stuart Little 3 is ANIMATED (whoa didnt see that one coming) and still has the voice of Michael J. Fox.

Singstar Pop and 80s has a cool rap thing. Where you rap. And. It like. Works out your rap. Thing. Ice Ice Baby is completely rap.

I think I made the right choice, I wouldn't have traded today (last day of work, free chips :D and good times) for a weekend with people who don't actually really want me there.

Good times.

Tuesday, December 20, 2005

Custom dinners are very cool. For $25.00 (actually, less if you exclude some exorbitant dessert and toilet paper), we fed three people with the following from Foodtown:

1x Rosemary and Garlic specialty bread
3L Keri Apple Juice (didn't open in the end)
$2.50 worth of Chicken pastrami
Medium container of potato salad in honey mustard mayonnaise
6 Turkish Delights (this was the most expensive thing at $15.90 a kilo!! but. they are extremely yum. I don't blame the kid from Narnia for wanting more.)
A bag of lime and chilli soy um cracker thingies
A bag of random asiany rice cracker things (multicoloured too!)

It was rather yum. And. more fun than fast food. cause, it doesnt take that long and you pick it. so yeah.

Um. That was fun.
Morning walk: O

Presents obtained for family: O

Um.

My feet are rather itchy, I finished mowing the lawn today.

Monday, December 19, 2005

This morning, I woke up at 9am.

Me and Sonny went for a "brisk power walk" (okay sounds lame it was more like hey we should move more often ok lets go for morning walks so it's win win because

+ I wake up earlier
+ He gets to walk

)

And. Man. Macleans reserve. Who knew there were so many random paths through it...it was like, all foresty and trekky and stuff. For about the 10 mins we wandered within the depths of the foliage. Mmm foliage.

Anyway. I still haven't mowed the back part of the lawn, and I honestly was going to do it right then just before I am typing this shit but then it is starting to rain outside.

So instead to make it up to William (who is getting very angry/sad) I will hang the clothes up I guess.

I also need to enrol for next semester. And. Student loan. ARR Rhow can i afford it money money

consumerism sucks.

My breakfast (now lunch) is an amalgamation of the following:

Canned spaghetti
Colby cheese
Corn thins

Nothing about it is remotely green or healthy.

Oh well.

Sunday, December 18, 2005

If virtual constructs and fabricated societial networks are a good representation of real world interaction, we're screwed because in FFXI:

+ I found a character called "Punchdeadbabies".
+ Someone told me to have a "marry crismas".
+ There were people complaining how there were no black people.

---

Yes I have not done much else.

William kinda semi-sorted timetable.

I was gonna go watch King Kong but I felt real bad in the mid afternoon, but got better as midnight approached and I'm fine now. At 2am.

We are trying to save on our power bill. ;_; We used more this year than last year so ergo ipsum factora det we must not use so much power.

Thursday, December 15, 2005

My piece didn't get through the first round of the Academy of Strings thing.

Really, I am not surprised :)

Don't get me wrong I am disappointed I don't get $50 but, ah well.

---

I was supposed to mow the lawn today. Instead, I did the laundry. I am not sure how the two events came to be mutually exclusive but I have a work meeting tomorrow.

Wednesday, December 14, 2005

Staple Diet: Cereal (grains and mammal excretions) and freshly liquidated fruits (juice).

Lawnmowing status: X

[Will do tomorrow]

Work tomorrow? Yes.

Is there a remedy for cold feet? Am I supposed to light some inner fire of courage or something? Hmm.

Khan in Howick, Mongolian BBQ. Great. Very, very great. Mmmm. It's like you pick your meat and sauce and they cook it and theres also other stuff and really nice icecream+waffles.

Best of luck to Simon and crew for their movie shoot later tonight.

And as usual, I don't have anything profound or thought provoking, but I will give you a random link.

Hello.

Just watched Narnia : The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Great work. I like it, a lot. Um. I cannot really explain exactly why. A lot of it seemed like Lord of the Rings -_- you know with the good army camp and then the bad people forging stuff and then there is also the whole England is Aslan's Lion side and Germany is the Ice Queen and lets bomb the dirty orc and dwarven and minotaur Germans...

But yeah it was good, good good.
Ants are fuckin stupid. Incredibly stupid. Why the hell do they want to fall into juice?! Sure it's sweet and sugary and probably totally awesome for your queen, but, dammit you stupid insects, all you're doing is drowning in our apple juice. At least take it back. If you're gonna die, die somewhere else.

Hell's Pizza is rather scrumptious, The Office has ridiculously great subtle humour, I am awake at 6:30?!?!

It is. Friday. Or. Saturday?

Saturday.

I am connected to the internet again.

Yay!

1) Edwards Scissorhands - a very cool movie (yes Dennis I see the automaton machine-assembly similarities, but, the line was much shorter back in 1990 ^_^). It's rather sad how he can't touch anything without destroying it BUT YET he creates great works of art through the destruction or something along those lines. And. Nobody was like "whoa you saved the kid from the random drunk twat" it was more like omg you cut him, even though we all know you have scissors for hands!

2) FLCL (FuriKuri). Holy crap. Hilarious, absolutely hilarious. Though, I guess it isn't meant to be totally funny. Random South Park allusion, doesn't ever take itself too seriously. And. Um. Fighting robots! Woo!

Monday, December 05, 2005

There is nothing quite like waking up to find your mum gone.

Of course, I was awake when the car pulled out of the driveway, etc. Hugs etc.

I think sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have parents.

I think sometimes, I think too little.

Sometimes, I think thinking about what I think about sometimes can get rather confusing.

Animals, Animals, Animals...

I have just microwaved Sausages. They are rather nice, although slightly mildly spicy.

[Hey, I'm your subconscious. Shut up.]

So. Um. Anyway.

...

There is nothing much to talk about. Internet working today, for now, anyway. Some random Telecom guy came around and yelled at our router. Apparently, it is our router's fault.

Which means Slingshot owes us a new one if it is really the problem.

Sunday, December 04, 2005

Alicia Keys: Falling. Quite possibly the worst song I've heard in a while.

Our internet died again today. I actually sat around for an hour, without knowing what else to do.

Seriously.

But then....I played PS2. ;_;

Academy of Strings played at Te Tuhi Christmas Concert.

Dennis, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was a vegetarian lunchbox. My mum likes to surprise people o_O

Anyway, I have finished watching OC Season 2. Seriously, so sad a finale. I have not much else to say :
Except not having internet. Is hard. Hmm.

An apology, which if you know me, you may paste upon your fridge or some other location where you come upon frequently.

I can do really selfish, stupid, or just senseless things. Sometimes, I speak, just to make some noise and see what happens. I think it is more exciting that way. Inadvertently, I may say something really rude, or dumb, or just plain cruel. If you happen to be one of the people I accidently slander, please accept my humble apologies, and remember that my accidental slander isn't worth so much anyway. I hope you will remember that I am dumb, and idiotic, and don't take it too personally. Feel free to attack me back if you so desire, for I will not mind if I do so deserve it.

pool2 Audio pronunciation of "pool" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pl)
n.
    1. A game of chance, resembling a lottery, in which the contestants put staked money into a common fund that is later paid to the winner.
    2. A fund containing all the money bet in a game of chance or on the outcome of an event.
  1. A grouping of resources for the common advantage of the participants: a pool of implements for the use of all the workers on the estate; forming a pool of our talents.
  2. An available supply, the use of which is shared by a group.
  3. A group of journalists who cover an event and then by agreement share their reports with participating news media: the White House press pool.
    1. A mutual fund established by a group of stockholders for speculating in or manipulating prices of securities.
    2. The persons or parties participating in such a fund.
  4. An agreement between competing business concerns to establish controls over production, market, and prices for common profit.
  5. Any of several games played on a six-pocket billiard table usually with 15 object balls and a cue ball. Also called pocket billiards.
I am not very good, but it is still fun. I cannot think of many things which I am not good at and yet still enjoy. Like, Fighting Games. Oh. I hate them, mainly cause I suck. In pool, see, if you lose, you still got to attack something with a very long stick, so. It's all good.

[Here is a reflective pause.]

On one level, drinking milk from another species is rather disgusting, but on the other level, it just tastes so good with crunchy cereal! [The best way to forget the big picture is to concentrate on the small details.]

[Angled brackets?! Nah, they look rather square to me.]

Seriously, look at the first entry.

Ponder. Think.

I think that is the meaning of life, to sit around and think about things, until you think you know it all and then you finally realise you are about to die.

WOO! MORBID!

Here is a smiley face to completely destroy/desecrate the mood.

:)
Just watched Dennis' The Art of Storytelling.

26/10.

Yes, twenty-six. XXVI.

So many subtleties, wicked humour, great characterisation and acting, stellar music, everything was just hilarious in its own right.

:D

Friday, December 02, 2005

Oh yes I forgot to mention I have now watched Sin City.

And if I ever have to choose between Sin City and Wedding Crashers again, Sin City wins like, 1000 hands down (sorry David. I can see why you don't like the movie.)

Very impressive visual style, etc. The worst bit on the DVD is when I saw Quentin Tarantino and it's kinda like "what. thats what he looks like? gah."
I have just finished my Academy of Strings composition.

It is just under 4 mins long.

Hmm.

William my mum and my sister are at Warkworth doing horseriding. They are pretty angry I am not there. But. Horseriding? [Hmm.] Maybe I will invite them to dinner to make up for it or something. Dunno. ;_;

Here is some really hard to read text which you probably will highlight.

Wednesday, November 30, 2005

Yesterday, my sister went to Rainbows End with a non-friend.

I have really nothing better to say. Um.

Ok.

har·le·quin Audio pronunciation of "harlequin" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (härl-kwn, -kn)
n.
  1. Harlequin A conventional buffoon of the commedia dell'arte, traditionally presented in a mask and parti-colored tights.
  2. A clown; a buffoon.

adj.
Having a pattern of brightly colored diamond shapes.

[Obsolete French, from Old French Herlequin, Hellequin, a demon, perhaps from Middle English *Herleking, from Old English Herla cyning, King Herla, a mythical figure identified with Woden.]

Monday, November 28, 2005

Today, two things happened.

1) I cut my hair. It is rather short now :) That means I don't have to even worry about it for like. Yonks. Yooooonks. My mum is annoyed that I went for a $10 haircut instead of a $7 one. The three dollars, I don't think is worth fighting over. Bahaha.

2) William tooks me for a drive. Or rather, I drove and he was sitting at the passenger side. Cause. He has his full for um two years now. So. Yeah. It was rather more exciting outside of a carpark. Carparks are boring, the cars don't move and it isn't exciting, etc. L plates - maybe they stand for loooosarrrrrr cause this guy like overtook me real hardcore. ;_; Also learned how to fill up the car. Our tank-release button is rather hidden.

ok~

[header story: Santa Parade. Sonny was wearing a really furry green costume that enjoyed molting onto me. William, a big plastic blue sail.]

---

I think I should probably explain the "Free Drum Kit" business.

Well. I own a drum kit. If you know me well enough and have entered my house (our? their? hmm), you will realise that we have absolutely no room for it.

It is rather hard to be a drummer without a drum kit, is it not?

So, previously they were staying at Brad's house. They have been there for a while. But then, all of a sudden (or maybe it was boiling in the background like, um, 2 minute noodles), his parents got angry and I am not allowed to leave them there any more. [Subrant: It was rather abrupt. I would have liked even more notice to think about it.]

While Brad did mention "oh John's talking to his parents ill let you know how that goes", it seems like a band-aid treatment for cancer. There is no guarantee his parents will allow for a really annoying musical instrument to be carted into their life, and if there is, there is no guarantee they won't one day suddenly change their minds and ask for it to be removed, whereby I get dumped with the exact same problem.

I do realise I purchased it, and I really should have thought about it more before I forked out the cash. People berate the Africans for having lots of kids and not having any food to feed them. I am wondering, why I bought a drum kit when I obviously do not have room for it. It is like it has to live on a perpetual favour. ("Hey, can you please hold a drum kit in your house. ") [subtopic: Dennis puts it eloquently as "The mince pie wrapper that travels around the commons"] Thus, I have promptly concluded (With myself) that I really don't deserve to have a drum kit, and since there's no "Child Youth and Family" equivalent for drum kits, I am going to give it away - since no government agency's gonna run a smackdown on me.

Yes, that probably means no more FFOF for me.

But. We weren't doing that much anyway. And, we don't have a place to practice.

It feels like I am throwing in the towel. But. Maybe I am. I don't know. It's like...I'm not that good of a drummer anyway I'm sure they can find someone else.

Maybe I shouldn't make such a rash hasty decision. But. I kinda have. I should probably consult the other people (Thomas David John). But. I have not. I have heard nothing, but a text from Brad saying "hey my parents are angry move all the shit out" and then one more a couple of days later "move it out". No reason why. No motive.

AGGRAVATED MURDER?!

I don't. I don't know. It is 12:18am. It is rather late.

So for the time being, Dennis has first dibs. If anybody else wants it, please join the queue, but I do not expect it to be long. Please. Think long and hard. Do you have angry neighbours? Do you have room? Do you really want it? How long do you expect the novelty to last? Have you considered that playing alone on a percussion instrument isn't as exciting as it really could be (ergo you probably want to have a reason for playing it other than for the sole purpose of playing it) Have you considered which room? Acoustics? Will your parents mind?

It feels like I am giving a kid up for adoption, but it's probably best for the kid, and the unprepared teenage parent.

Does anybody want a free drum kit?

Friday, November 25, 2005

Just came back from a very fun night out. I was playing FFXI at the time, and we were like hunting rare key items etc and I felt like a bitch leaving everyone at the time, but looking back...they'll get over it, and plus, wouldn't have traded that for this. Ergo. Ipsum dolum est (sorry, MS Publisher joke)

Went to Ken Yakitori bar with Sonny and Raymond, good food as usual, the Chicken thing... (karaage?) is yum. So are their yakitori sticks, the prawn....stunning. mmmmm and cabbage was cool as usual., I had some umeshi. :)

Then we went to the beach to talk. IT was rather cold but it was good.

And then we went back and Sonny got compulsory breath tested :P This time it was fine (last time we were rather worried cause he was on restricted and past curfew but this time no ^_^)

ok thats about it

:)

Stream of consciousness post again.

These are arather fun to type though they do not make sense to the reader. At all.

I am tired.

Eyes. Closing.

Still typing even though vision is black. Hello. Black.

Dark. I cannot see. Lift your eyelids! Open your eyez. Z. The Z is for power, like in Dragonball Z. Those are some powerful balls.

William bought Civilization IV.

It seems cool. I don't know though.

It is Richard's birthday today.

He turns 21.

OK.

I was supposed to mow the lawn today.

We are leaving at 5:30

IT is 5:00

I cannot possibly mow the entire lawn in 1/2 hour so I guess it'll have to wait until I either get back, or *gasp* tomorrow.

Hm.

here is some hidden text nobody will find.

Well.

Hmm.

LIIIIIIIIIIFE.

Let us read the next book. JENNIFER MYSPACE FOUND IT

Hello! How are you today?

- good just a hint of insanity and sarcasm

Oh ok fantastic

- yeah

So. What is the point of having a square inside a circle?

-sometimes the shapes are aesthetically pleasing

Do you remmeber Auckland University's open day?

- ya it was crap

OK just checking

My sister is watching Emma.

It sounds like a stupid movie.

Harriet, I can only declare, Mr. Knightley, is the last man on earth who would intentionally etc etc stupid accents stupid old victorian accents lame plot i hate it

.

Lol. sorry.

Watched The Transporter 2.

It is pretty good for an action film. Very nice fight sequences.

VERY BAD CG. VERY OBVIOUS CG PLANE.

VERY VERY UNREALISTIC STUNT INVOLVING A CAR AND A BOMB.

Apart from that it was enjoyable. The main transporter guy has a cool accent.

I met one of Sonny's Architecture Friends today. It is funny, because that spells SAF and he is from South Africa.

That is my insightful comment.

Bye.
Today, is the 17th of November.

I check my letterbox, and I find a CD, dated on the 16th of November.

In it, is Codename: Lychee. Or, "Bob's Bean Pod". Apparently, a bean pod is a hat. But, I must say I haven't seen orange beans, like, ever. Like.

[Subrant: I hate how sometimes I use the word like as a filler space, like um , um. And uh, and um like.]

I do not know how Dennis pieced together something so cool.

I must say though, there is a typo at running time 30s.

Maybe it is artsy and deliberate.

I like the piano music. I didn't enjoy the random keyboard sounds but that could just be my aversion to General MIDI chipset sounds, in general.

Do I look sad at the end? I am not sure.

I was totally not sad that day.

Acting is weird. I do not like watching myself.

It is like. Hmm. Is that me. Hello.

"It is like in the world, you can't see form, you can only see shadow - shadows of yourself around you, shadows of others upon others, shadows of things that have come before, foreshadowing of what has yet to come, shadows shadows shadows"

It was cool how he added effects and filters to the narrative in the third section.

I think the strongest one is the third section.

The "car crash" in the second section is pretty cool :)

Funny back-story: I was standing in the middle of the road. It was rather dangerous. There were cars oncoming. They were probably like "damn kids of today no respect for their elders blah fishpot"

Sprite. Did I mention incoherency (is that a word (subtopic)) as an inherited disease?

Conglomerate.

Calamity.

It was fun Dennis. You are finally finished :)

It was very fun. A++ would trade again, let me know if you need me for anything :) (: :) (:

Here are some mirrors of a smile.

:) (: :) (: :) now they kind of look like cookies

Form. Image. Art. Art is stupid. I hate art. How can someone put a toilet in a museum and call it art. Maybe I am jealous. It takes no effort to do that. Negative effort. On a scale of 1290124 to 24891275981275091287501298571298, about somewhere in the lower end.

Incoherent again.

Tired? No.

Work? Yes.

I have seen Chicken Run about five times now. I have never actually finished the entire movie.

I have seen a demonstration of popping corn being popped.

Leaders meeting. Tomorrow.

No, today.

In about, an hour.

Shower? [Yes, please.]

Santa Parade? Apparently so, not this weekend but the one after.

Academy Concert Practice? Lacking. Composition? Lacking.

Strings. I do like strings. They are rather useful.

PEAK OIL WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE

Well, no use in worrying then.

The sky outside is blue.

It rained for like, two minutes before and we all rushed outside to like, like, like [Subrant: Here I go again.] take in the clothing and stuff.

Now, it is sunny. With stromcrouds bruing on the horizon.

...

None of this is making any sense.

...

Maybe it is art. I hate art.

Logic! Let us all be logical super-robots, sit at Countdown and count prices until we fall down in exhaustion - time is money, so obviously we are spending a lot trying to save three cents over budget oatmeal and toilet paper made from recycled toilet paper from Papua New Guinea shipped over on the backs of slaves and tortured bears.

Please free the tortured bears, that way people will stop making ads about it that make annoying pop-up and banner ads somewhere on some sites on some internet.

Is there more than one?

Can you imagine.

Some people can't. It is rather sad.

Maybe I am one of them.

Incoherent! Incoherent!

I wear my watch on my right hand. I am right handed. I am such a rebel. Please, rebel. HEY WE ARE ALL REBELS REBEELLIOIZUZ TEENAGERS PLEASE SCREW THE SYSTEM

I am too lazy, and, or, bored. There were two many commas. Grammatical.

Hypocritical.

Hyper-crytical?

Why.

I think I will watch the movie again.
o_O

Finished reading Chuck Palahniuk's "Diary" today.

Holy crap.

...

Brilliant. Just like Fight Club. Brilliant twist.

...

I cannot describe it in words. It is a great book. Go read it now. I don't even want to try describing it, because justice wouldn't be done.

Watched Doom today. Okay movie, I was expecting a lot worse but it was okay. Like, an action flick. Yeah. There was a funny first-person-view-like-in-the-actual-game bit which I found hilarious but. Yeah.

It wasnt that scary :\ The game is scarier.

OK
