Last day of work...last day of the holidays...
=(
At least that means I get money for the work I did? ^^ Today was pretty breezy. Getting paid to watch The Incredibles, I can't complain.
Hit in the head twice today, self-inflicted graze x1, game invention (zombie) +1.

Today went to DEVONPORT with 5-7s as Trip Person. Devonport isn't too bad at all, except that food didn't seem very cheap there. However, I had some TURKISH BREAD (woop woop I love Turkish Bread, thanks Ellen for introducing me to it) (sorry for having Turkish Bread the day after ANZAC day?) and it was yum as, and massive.
So many silly University Campus Cantori rehearsals. -_-
Assignment due tomorrow. I work?! I probably got it all wrong?!

There was a kid on Friday who really liked Steve's hairy legs. He kept rubbing them. o_O
Yogurt and weetbix is YUM AS! It's like Fruity Bix only not.
I don't know whether to be happy or sad at this moment. Brad is coming round with Dave and we going to set up stuff at Dennis's mum's bonushouse for shooting tomorrow. (HAH TAKE THAT RAYMOND)
Just so that the females don't go EQUALITY FOR ME ETC I will insert some female names: Bridget Lisa Janet Karen
there.
I don't know whether to be happy or sad at this moment.
I don't think this post and the last one were very coherent. It might have something to do with the fact that I left the rice cooker on, or maybe that I had six hours of sleep yesterday.
Argh. Frustration.

Hello. Yesterday Sonny came over stayed the night we played random old RPG called dungeon Siege by Microsoft. Quite fun, yes.
Also watched some tv. 8 simple rules. I thought the show stopped when the dad guy died ;_; but they kept going, good on them maybe?
Funny sitcom? Maybe. Situations are predictable, especially the closing joke. Poor Rory? Maybe.
I am listening to Lost in Love by Air Supply, I used to think it was by those two bastard chicks but apparently not you THIEVES
Sonny's mum cooked a lovely plate of koreanstyle potatoes. I ate them they were nicebut the chillies oMg I took one and they are SO INCREDIBLY HOT not just eyes wateringbut actual tears! Damn thats hot

Went to MOTAT today. Hmm. Was pretty good. Got really ripped off at the cafe, I was hungry so I had no choice but $2.50 for a poo microwavey pie when you can get a real wicked one near the Rec Centre for $2.00 = :(
William is on camp?
Um, also there were lots of cool Lego exhibits at MOTAT (the sky tower, twice.) And also, robots. Like the robo-sapien things. They aren't THAT good, but everybody seemed to be impressed like crazy (especially Sonny XD)
I need sugarwater!

Ahahahhaha thanks john/brad for all the mp3s you gave me. \o/
Guess what the theme at work is today? Ball-a-rama. ;_;"
It is raining so William is nicely giving me a lift so I dont have to walk in the rain or what have you.

Work Rating today: 4/5
Times hit in the head by fast moving spherical objects: 2
Number of dresses I had to wear: 1
Man, the steak and mushroom pies that are at the bakery just up the road from where the Rec Centre is (somewhere near Botany Road or something) are sooo mint. Totally delicious steak, and succulent mushroom. Mmm.
I am eating Naturals. They are nice. I feel unhealthy.

Came back from shooting an hour ago. Spent most of the time tied to a broken office chair :P My right shoulder is sore and all that but that's most likely from yesterday at work playing Jailbreak ^^"
Hmm. Sorry William didn't mean to be all agro yesterday but I wasn't in the best of moods after being hit in the face three times, and then having to finish what you should have finished.
Anyway. I'm tired. Shaun of The Dead! 100%! I watched the extras and commentaries yesterday, hilarious stuff. Simon Pegg's a brilliant actor.

Argh. I got hit in the face three times today from hi-speed moving objects. My glasses were bent out of shape AGAIN (but man, are they durable) and I spent hours bending them back perfectly. I've almost got it back now. But not quite.
And William you fucking bastard, I ASKED YOU TO DO THE WASHING the next time you ask me to do something, I'm gonna do a half-arse job like you. This normally wouldn't piss me off if 1) You actually did the ENTIRE washing more than once. 2) The clothes have been sitting in the washing machine, wet, dripping and SMELLY for hours and not to mention feeling like washing powder 3) Our washing machine wasn't fucked, the fuckness state contributing to 2), and 4) I didn't go to work today, didn't get hit in the face three times, and you had all fucking day to do your job properly.
-_-
Music video tomorrow! I'm excited. \o/ My nose hurts.

Band practice/recording/music video discussion.
I'm amped. It sounds like it'll be wicked.
Work tomorrow. I am walking there I suppose...starts at 8:30 so I have to leave the house by 8:00 which means I need to wake at 7:00. If I sleep RIGHT NOW I will get 10 hours. But I probably won't sleep RIGHT NOW. Maybe soon.
Excited!

The good news: Compsci is sitting on like 100%! Finished my Assignment 1 for MUSIC composition. Copying out my first composition to paper took 2 hours. Got money on my photocopy card. Zoom 1.3x to get from the crazy size manuscript to A3.
The not so good news: Physics is sitting on 56%. :( While when I add the grade for physic and compsci and divide by 2 it's still a B+...I dont want to risk it. My assignment went better than I thought, 20/30, but test was 7/15 :(
Today ate Wendy's played Ghost Squad at Yifans with Matt and random people (random being a guy called Steve from Westlake Boys or something and some asian chick and some asian guy and some white chick who does Management with Matt and...)
But the BEST news:
MID SEMESTER BREAK

Hmm. Showed Leonie my Assignment 1-C for music today. She seemed to like it ^^"

Strikes. They were cool when you weren't paying thousands to attend lectures.
All for Staff etc, yay for you getting payrise etc but ;_; please don't cancel lectures (cancel the test and make us all get 100% would be nice though ^^)
.
Met a guy called Pete today. Hello, Pete. Apparently, Pete went to Sommerville and knows David and Janko and Raymond and...etc. Simon was not impressed with his debating joke.
(Hey, how do you catch a Honda? With Honda bait.
How do you catch a Mazda?)
.
Tomorrow I have to:
Finish my three compositions (technically finish two start one)
Study for Physics Test
Study for Compsci Test
Not go to the Leaders Meeting for HRC ;_;
Practice for Keyboard Lab
.
I'm really hungry. I will eat something.
.
Craccum has slandered Blogs recently. This is how much I care about it.

They say that pink is the new black.
They say that apathy is the new cool.
They say choice died out a long time ago, it got replaced by "um" preceding every syllable.
They say that if you try too hard you'll succeed. (It used to be "stop trying so hard")
Damn you success culture.
They say that carrots are the new potatoes.
They say that chalk is the new fibre.
They say that eyes are the new hands.
They say that Nivea is the new Lynx.
They say that saying that they say that is the new thing.
Do you remember the days of chatter rings? I remember the days of chatter rings. I was cool, I brought mine (it was probably my brother's and I stole it for the day) to school and I did a backwards walk-the-dog all around the basketball court. I think that was the day I got hit by a basketball and faked being blacked out. I was trying to be cool. It backfired, everyone said "omg you got blacked out by a crappy basketball". I was like, damn.
They say long anecdotes are the new magazines.
They say that twink is the new glue.
They say that chips are the new bread.
They say that lying is the new leather.
They say that vans are the new cars.
---
Point: I hate people who say blah blah is the new blah blah because it's all hearsay and for all I care they can go fist themselves.
Sorry, I'm sleepy. It is 10:14. What am I doing, not doing work?
Well, they say that apathy is the new cool. (Craccum is right, writing "fuck you" on an exam paper just cost you $500.)

Music video. Dennis's first movie is stunning, only flaw is I think Patrick Sham sounds silly. But that's probably a paersonale preference thing. And plus, he belongs to the ENEMY! The great terrorists who cause your fuel price to rise at the pumps and eat babies and destroyed the WTC and cut you off in the middle of conversations. Damn those 4....I've said too much. =P The recording sounds okay I guess I haven't had a chance to convert them to mp3 and stuff. New photos of band! Maybe someone will care. Oh, what recording you ask? Draft one I guess for Music Video. We're booked into some time in MAINZ but that's in like June or something.
Maths Olympiad. There was a kid who looked like Alfred E Newman off the Mad Magazine.
Minority Report is a very good movie. I wish I had those cool glove thingies to control things. That would rawk.
I really should finish my Assignments/study for Compsci Test/print out backlogged-non-existant lecture notes.
Six Degrees Of Separation?
In the land of the homeless, the guy in the cardboard castle is King. Either that, or dirty.
Craccum thank you for saving my mind while waiting for my brother to get from City campus to the carpark.
Mountain Dew - 1 litre of pure unhealthiness for $2. Cheap way to die? (You could drown in it for less than...uh...)
;_; My mum is sick again apparently. Abdominal region issues, she had an operation a couple of years ago. Apparently she's on an IV drip at my dad's clinic. :( Get well soon!
Hello Sonny. You called me twice today during my Physics lecture. I was really confused. Lock your phone please. =)
The random guy who takes the Tamaki shuttle as well and takes Physics 150 and has white in-ear headphones wasn't at the lecture today. Which is probably okay cause we were only doing Kirchoff's Laws. I hate him.
I hate Physics 150.
I don't mind University in general, it's quite nice and all. I suppose. Dissonance on the lower voice! 2-3 4-5
No those are not rugby scores. At least I understand rugby scores. Cricket is a big mystery.
Speakers? These Altec Lansing ones are wicky wicky! <3 (Less than three. Ahem) But I've always wanted to have a really really directional speaker, the one Dr. H talked about last year in Physics.
He was a good teacher. I want more money, so I can gift him a copy of that Bill Bryson book.
I'm working these holidays? Thursday's gonna be so crazy-busy. OH MY GOODNESS i just forgot O_O I have a meeting at HRC at 4.00...but I have a compsci test at 6.15?! I have no idea how I'm gonna manage that one. I will have to call them. That sucks. I really need to go to those meetings, eh...I know I'm forgetting something else about work as well...there's like a day where I have to finish at 4.00 or something. Hmm.

TEDIOUS TOAD I RECIEVED THE CHALK THANK YOU
You said it was red though. Looks more pink to me!
...
There is something to be said about having a legitimate excuse to yell "ASS NUM" during a lecture. XD
...
Okay, me and Rikky were on the bus right, and there was this skank PI/Maori slag at the back of the bus. Apparently she gave Rikky the finger but I didn't notice her until after he said "hey she just pulled the fingers at me". You know how when you're bored (ie on a bus) and you just stare blankly ahead in front of you...yeah, that's usually okay unless in front of you happens to exist a skank slutho. Anyway, yeah. No need to have a huge diarrhea session just because someone's looking at you. When she got off the bus she looked in our direction and said "what" and did the whole "YO IM BLACK I GOT DA ATTITUDE FOOS". Which would have worked if she was cool, like Aretha Franklin. But she obviously wasn't.

gunshots sound
screaming cries
(why am i in pain)
head spinning
vision fading
(why is it so dark)
blood flowing
heartbeat slows
(why do i have to die)
paramedics
try--no use
he's gone
flatline
why did this happen
such a waste
young man with
so much potential
now his life is over
for what--his shoes
his clothes
because of his race
for twenty dollars
his mama cries
she can't believe it
it can't be true
such a good boy
always listens
respects his mama
works to help me out
such a senseless death
confusion
at the time of death
..
I'm gonna do my draft to part C of my assignment...which is due tomorrow...on the text above.

My entire Compsci Assignment didn't work because I had "=" instead of "==". XD It took me 50 minutes to fix.
I have to do my lab prep sheet and music composition 1-c and practice for keyboard lab tomorrow.

XD
Sonny can vouch for this. I was stuck on a problem with my Compsci Assignment code, it just wouldn't seem to work properly, my program. I sat there for 50 minutes trying to figure it out.
Guess what the problem was? I was missing ONE CHARACTER. Just one. An equals sign, "=".
Fifty minutes of effort, all because of one missing equals sign.
That's programming for you! ^^

Hello. Just came back from Academy of Strings rehearsal. Didn't make TOO many mistakes this time. There was a really obvious bum note when I was playing a solo part but I just smiled and everybody laughed and we were all happy etc....;_;
Anyway. The point of this post is that our Guest Conductor for this concert, Neil Guyan, IS A CRACKUP XD XD he's so hilarious
The only thing is he's the "upbeater" kind of conductor and that's taking a bit of getting used to.
Right.
FFXI.

"Hey, didn't you go to Macleans?!"
A lot of people went to Macleans. Why are you talking to me if you don't even know my name, random passer-by...
Yes.
Oh man I'm so lost eh I don't know where to go eh where's my Chemistry Lecture?
I don't do Chemistry. And if I did, how would I know where it is? I'm just a stupid first year like you too.
It's there somewhere, I think.
Hahah I pointed in a random direction. Don't bother me again.
Oh okay thanks.

Bread is a good anime.
Bleach is a good anime.
I have been to Paul McDonald's house twice in the last two days.
We watched Super Size Me just then.
I do not like McDonalds any more. (I haven't liked them since I found blood on my lettuce in my Big Mac this one time.)
We were gonna stay over at Pauls but for some strange bizarre reason everybody left. I was kinda confused...I mean, I used my free rental from Stefan (thanks man!) to get out Grave of the Fireflies for them to watch but o_O apparently not.
Ready Steady Go is a good song.

This year's White Pages are red.
Go figure.
HAPPY EASTER
David please tell me we are watching a movie tomorrow night or I will be forced to become a hermit and attack random passersby.
Yes, passersby, that's how you spell/grammatize (grammatise?) it.
Sorry Raymond for scaring you today. It's just that it was funny and I had ten minutes to kill.

I just sat next to the most annoying guy on the bus, ever. He was white, obnoxious, and most importantly, took up one and a half seats. That's just not on. On a good day, I take up 2/3rds of a seat. This was not a good day, I really needed one seat. Due to this guy sitting next to me, I got half a seat. Not nearly enough!
But all of this would be redundant if he wasn't so impatient and angry angsty angsty. At least 100 swear words, all of which I pretended not to hear through headphones and nice music, and gratituous use of the A word (yes, Asian o_O) Apparently some guy got off at the wrong stop or whatever, I wasn't really paying too much attention, I was trying to stop my neck from cementing in place, in that awkward position. I was trying really hard to read Craccum and ignore this angry white guy yelling at some poor (and probably stupid) confused Asian person.
The other annoying thing is, he shakes not just his leg (I know I have the annoying legshake habit) but his whole being shakes. Imagine being in half a bus seat right next to this guy and then the 1 and a halfer suddenly starts spasming. -_-
Urgh.
In good news THANKS HELEN
Okay bye !!

I really hate whoever invented glitter. I just saw some on my face, which was utterly utterly confusing. I didn't even touch anything remotely glittery today. It must have been some random glittery osmosis fashion working.
If you use glitter at a party, think please. Think, where is that glitter gonna go? Are you gonna be able to get rid of ALL of it? (Chances are you have glitter in YOUR hair, right now). Or is it gonna end up on some poor guy's face? Like me? I really hate glitter. I really don't want it on my face. So please. Support life. Don't support glitter.
I am listening to the last movement of Peter Graham's Windows of the World. ITS STILL TOTALLY AWEOSME the Gotenburg Brass Band played it better but it's still awesome. The drum solo was better in the live version I heard.

So, I was in the car, William was driving us to Tamaki etc...and I looked around, this was in like Tamaki or something really slummy-ish, and there was lots of tagging. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but when you tag something, you claim that that's your territory and whatnot, right? Like how dogs pee on posts, except that the council doesn't hate dogs? (oh wait, they do. Sorry.)
Well, why would you want to own a roadsign, or a portaloo?
Just wondering.
I made it to my lab on time today! YAY
Walked really reallyreally fast. -_-

I love daylight saving.
You go to bed unimaginably exhausted...
and you wake up with an extra hour! It's totally awesome. It's like, SURPRISE you just got more time!
(but this is actually an illusion because you lose an hour as well, some other time in the year. But, I like winning hours, makes me feel good)
In other news I think I'm slowly going blind.

I saw the blind student William was talking about the other day. This isn't the blind Maori woman with guide dog, this was another blind student. She had a really cool machiney thing which according to William is how she makes notes.
I can't help wondering. Is it rude to look at blind people? Like, I dunno. Is it better to avert your eyes? Or is it better to pay them interest? Or is this question completely redundant because they're blind and they can't tell if you're looking at them or not anyway?
Hmm.
There was also a guy who's deaf in one ear. He had a mental/verbal musical/compositional techniqist scrap with a guy in a pink shirt with a ring on his ring finger (surprise).
That is all.

Leader's Meeting today.
Weren't too many people there today. (ahem sonny)
Anyway, to break it short, yeah, handed in my application for Holiday programme - ;_; I miss out on HRC Idol :( :( cause uni starts that day. ^^" That would have been fun.
Hmm.
Yeah, also, due to New Legislative Laws, Nicola who was working Wednesdays in my little overseas excursion to Malaysia and stuff, is no longer employable (because you have to be 16 or over) - thus, I got a job! (again. at the same place. same time. does that count as having it back? hmm.) I start Wednesday 30th March someone please remind me closer to the time :)

Okay. I just checked my comments for my Assignment which people reviewing it under Peer Assessment System for Compsci101...;_; my head's gonna explode. They're all like this:
Good!
WEll done
PERFECT
Well structured
Very good
---
I mean, it could really just be a machine throwing out positive comments but whoa I wasn't expecting so much. It felt good, for a while! But then...I dunno. Don't let it get to my head, this was an easy Assignment, I believe. Maybe.
It's late. I'm sleepy.

Hello. On Monday (which is when I planned to type this post, but things kinda...slip...) I missed an hour of my PHYSICS150 LAB, cause I missed the City-Tamaki bus...maybe because I didn't leave Choir early enough (early enough means early enough to catch the City-Tamaki bus - which is before I left on Monday, obviously. I left on time. Maybe on time is late to be early enough?)
But the thing that annoys me is that I actually got there in time to see the buses leave. Okay, technically I was still standing around for quite a bit before the buses left. There were three buses, right...there they were. The two at the back were COMPLETELY packed, like you would not believe. There were fully like 10 people standing in that stair-case bit on both the two back buses. So, obviously I wouldn't fit on those buses. Now, there was a bus in front of that, had the Tamaki Campus sign up and all that...completely empty. For what reason, I will probably never find out. Anyway, I tried to get on that one, but the driver just yelled at me and gave me evil eyes and didn't open the doors. So...I stood at the sidewalk, outside the general library, looking forlornly at the three buses depart in a slow motion crawl...knowing that my ride to un-failure lay on them. I think I heard a sad violin play somewhere, but it was really quiet. Might have been from the Music Department. Did you know the Music Department was modelled after a grand piano? I DIDNT thanks Melody for telling me that today. Why is all of this in one paragraph? I don't know. Maybe this is why I got a C for AS English!
Paragraphed. Anyway, let me introduce you to my stereotypification of the Tamakicity Bus Drivers.
1) Punk-rock Chick
This bus driver is of middle age, has dyed red hair, a piercing of some sort.
2) Cool polynesian
This guy wears REALLY short shorts, sometimes has sunnies on, curly hair. Those shorts should be illegal. But he's nice.
3) Stupid slob maori
This guy made me late to Compsci101 because he drove really slowly, the waterfront way. And plus, he's a slob cause he was just wearing jandals and had food in front of him when the bus clearly says "NO EATING FOO"
(sidetrack: There is this one guy, who always eats on the bus. It's really funny. I have yet to see him not eat on the bus. Sorry for the digression. He also has white headphones. And spiked-ish hair. You know, the one everyone does, cause it's cool, and ten years back people will regard it like afros or something. Can you imagine how bad hair-dye must have been, back in the day? Hmm.)
4) Random fat white 70s guy
This guy is quite cool. He wears aviators and listens to Solid Gold. I have heard the following while on his bus:
Elton John - Empty Garden
That song about how "words are all I have to take your heart away"
Don Maclean - American Pie
and much more.
I'm sure there are more (eg mr DONT LET YOU ON BUS CAUSE HES MEAN man) but...I forget or they aren't interesting.
Anyway:
DAMN ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO GO TO TAMAKI JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO DRIVE HOME, I MISSED AN HOUR OF MY LAB AND THEREFORE DIDNT FINISH AND THEREFORE LOSE SOME MARKS MAYBE BECAUSE OF YOU RULE-BREAKING MOFOS. Me and my brother are an exception because we have parking permits. >.>

Albert Park is a really nice park.
---
I couldn't tell if Ms. Warner / Mrs. Thompson was laughing or crying when BFK was performing today. There was also this little kid, who was singing (okay by little I mean fresh 3rd form) Rikky thinks he's gay. I think he really should stop insinuating on 13 year olds (HAH TAKE THAT). He sang okay. Awesome tone. Tuning needed work. And then we performed after him and then drove off to Tamaki.
I doubt I will be in school again for a long while. Still need to buy a copy of Bill Bryson's Short History of Everything for Dr. H cause I know he'll love it.
---
I was kinda slightly annoyed earlier, but man, this White Melodies of Tactics Advance...it's so relaxing.....^_^ I don't really care any more :)
(Call the bank if you want. I'm not sure what you'll do from there though. I can imagine a really angry you going "OI MY BROTHERS BEING A DICK BLAH BLAH PLEASE CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION". If you really want to embarrass yourself...go ahead. I mean, it's your choice if you want to be an immature prat. I'm sure you don't read this anyway, it eats valuable bandwidth. While you're at the bank, get them to link my eftpos card to my bank account o_O I should really do that one day. Maybe Thursday. Maybe.)
Oh yeah. Notice to everybody, please, if you want me to do something, don't implicate. Because I see through that implication and since I'm a bastard at heart, I'll deliberately not do it. Ask me directly. That way I can't weasel out of whatever you're asking me. And also, I may look unhappy but I will get over it after a while so don't worry.
Unless I don't like you.

Why today is not as good as it could be:
1) My mum is going back to Malaysia which means now when I put dishes in the sink, they don't magically become washed.
2) I have a blocked nose and puffy eyes and...I dunno, is it hayfever? o_O Who knows.
3) Our washing machine is emitting a strange choking sound, or at least it sounds like it's drowning. Haha, who would have figured, a washing machine drowning...
4) My mum's flight was delayed from like 11 till 7.30 pm or something stupid which ruins all their connecting flights blah blah blah so basically since the counter people are slow and crap and annoying we wasted a lot of time at the airport. At least we got a $8 food/beverage voucher. o_O
5) I am sneezing. This is lame sloppy kind, not the tidy oh yeah that felt good sneeze, no, this one requires cleaning up.

Hello. Just so that it doesnt happen again:
EVERYTHING I EVER SAY, EVER, CAN ALWAYS ONLY BE TRULY MY OPINION.
Thank you. So when I say "Simple Plan is crap", I really mean "I think Simple Plan is crap", because I'm a lazy arse and I cannot be bothered saying "I think" in front of everything.
Yeah the Asian chick was an exchange student from Japan. Don't ask me how I know, because I'm psychic. Mwahha.
Today had steamboat at Linda's house. It was nice. Amy's brother doesn't seem so idiotic when he isn't with his loser 4th form friends (:P don't tell him I said this Amy) Tee hee
Okay. It's late. But, I say again, EVERYTHING I EVER SAY, EVER, CAN ALWAYS ONLY BE TRULY MY OPINION.
And please don't flood the tagboard. If you've got something to say, do it in as little posts as possible so that it doesn't actually push out half the conversation before other people (like me) get to read it. It works on post counts, not on post size. So, you don't really need four posts for something like:
Hey, I like Simple Plan.
Why don't you like Simple Plan?
I think you should like Simple Plan.
I saw Simple Plan the other day.
Instead of wasting four posts, why not just waste one? THANKS
EVERYTHING I EVER SAY, EVER, CAN ALWAYS ONLY BE TRULY MY OPINION.

THANKS

My mum has gone out. Her mobile keeps ringing. Do I pick it up, to save some irritated caller time, or do I leave it, to protect the privacy of her call? I never know. Damn moral dillemas...on one hand its an invasion of privacy, on the other you are wasting someone's time. Especially when you go to someone else's house to stay for an extended period of time, I don't know whether to pick up, or not. Hmm.
Anyway. My mum bought the piano! So now we have a piano. A lovely earthy brown Yamaha piano. A bit out of tune, especially lower register, but hey, a piano's a piano! Yay.
What happened today...basically, I'm really tired on Fridays because I have to wake up so early but today made up for making me wake up early by letting me listen to the Gothenburg Brass Band. Okay, fine, I'd never heard of them ever before, until today, but supposedly they are the best Brass Band in Sweden and won World Championships or whatever. And after listening to their performance of Peter Grahams' "Windows of the World"...I can see why. Totally, TOTALLY mindblowing. Didn't know brass instruments could do some of that stuff o_O Made up for some of the crap they were forced to play by some John Rimmer guy, who looks like Kim Jong Il. That Windows of the World thing was quite novel too, in its use of space...the players actually got up and walked around. It was totally awesome.
They were selling CDs afterwards, but none with that song on it which I totally totally loved. Wonder if they recorded it, the University. So it's not that I didn't want to buy a CD to support them, they're tototatally awesome, just that they didn't have what I wanted. :(
But they were awesome.
I am drinking Hey Song Sarsparilla, thinking of Taiwan, and oh yeah finally got that Black and White film printed yay! :) There's some nice shots on that film. Well, I think so anyway.

COMPSCI 101 Lab. Interesting.
Here is the nerdiest thing I've seen all week:
Bahah. Sorry, Java.
Um, what happened today...on bus home there was Rainbow and Cheryl (hi) and Linda (Yao). Talked, bus ride became way shorter. (Side effect, didn't do CS worksheet) Came home. Played a bit of FFXI...by play I mean just travel to another area and wait for some guy to turn up and then I had to go because my mum came home and said "HEY LETS GO LOOK AT A PIANO" in a way that offered no compromise and so I went. It's a good piano, a Yamaha. I think we're getting it.
Yeah.

Music 103A Lecture was the stupidest thing I'd done all week. Yes, even the Physics Lab where I went around covering tables with shedded skin...basically, I think I got streamed into the retard class and as a result we spent an hour singing rubbish. -_-
But otherwise, it's been a good day. Met some new(ish) people, some whom I'll probably never see again but hey it's all good. Also forgot to mention yesterday there was a big blind Maori woman in our lecture (as a student, presumably) and she had a cool black guide dog.

Oh yeah, I watched Artificial Intelligence on TV2 yesterday (which meant I woke up late which meant lateness this morning therefore Steven Spielberg is to blame for making me late to school today)
I'd forgotten how awesome it was. I really like it. Tons. There's just this weird creepy atmosphere that is so pervasive and stuff. Yeah, anyway, just thought I'd mention I like the movie. And also, I've been looking for the soundtrack to it for a while...anyone got it, please lend it to me ^^

Was *barely* in time for first lecture this morning...William *just* caught the bus into the City from Tamaki...o_O it's amazing what the difference in traffic is, if you're just 5 or so minutes slower in leaving the house than you usually are. o_O
XD Had Music 103 Keyboard Lab Assessment. I really suck ^^" Couldn't play the easiest one properly...so I guess I'm starting from the start, which sucks, because that means I can't get more than 80% or something stupid. But, meh.
Had first Physics Lab. DUMBEST LAB EVER, basically spent two hours measuring the width of a table with a cubit (the distance from your fingertip to elbow) and a mini-cubit (distance from first to second knuckle). Imagine measuring a decent sized table with your knuckles...five times...and tell me you don't find it stupid. :P At least there are cool people in the lab stream I'm in, some guy called...uh...Daniel? Some chick called Julia...I dunno. I'll remember next week maybe o_O
Saw Raymond walk past while I was on the Tamaki bus today. Also saw Simon Janko David and someone else. Obviously I didn't destroy a bus window in an insatiable urge to say hi, or anything. Raymond you look dodgy and rapist like with your crazy curly hair and facial hair. Just a thought. ^^
Currently listening to "Lovers' Walk" by "Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra". Great song.
Bought some iced-tea from Tamaki Munchy-Mart today. Quite nice.
Someone wanna go to cinemas this Saturday? Maybe watch Constantine or something?
I really like the keyboard of me and William's shared computer, it's great. Good response and feels good and looks good too. In fact, new computer is wickedly legendary, I wouldn't be surprised if someone came along and went "whoa that's a wicked legend".
Yup.

(p.s. Henry and Sonny, can you make your own top 10 songs of the past 15 years as well, please??????) - Raymond
o_O
I really hate requests like this...^^"
There's so much good music I cannot possibly make a TOP 10. But I can mention ten songs, right now, which I'm really enjoying at the moment.
Not in any particular order. I can never pick favourites. Please, don't even try to make me pick, or I'll pick your eyes out with my fingernails.
---
[Artist/Band - Album - Track Title]
Andrew Lloyd Webber - The Phantom Of The Opera Soundtrack - Down Once More/Track Down This Murderer
Nobuo Uematsu - Final Fantasy II - The Rebel Army Theme
Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters - Mary
Coil - Guitaroo Man OST - The Legendary Theme
The Black Mages - The Black Mages II: The Skies Above - Matoya's Cave
The Guy Who Wrote It, I Can't Remember His Name - The Incredibles Soundtrack - The Incredits
Shiro Sagesu (?) - Neon Genesis Evangelion S2 Works - Thanatos
Akayo Taira - Radio DC - A Lullaby
F.Y.I - I dont know the album - Lydia (I really have no idea why this is on the list.)
Fist Full of Fives - Fisting (maybe) - Why Monkey Why (simply cause I wrote it)
Jun Senoue - Radio DC - After The Adventure..
Yutaka Minobe - Radio DC - Theme From Phantasy Star III
---
That's my list, at the moment. Yes, I know, I put twelve. Bite me. Really, I love them all equally, I think they're all fantastic and you should all listen to all of them. Oh yeah, and Sega Piano Nocture, that's good listening right there. I hate picking favourites, it's easier to name songs I hate.
Here are a couple:
Snoop Dogg (or whoever) - Drop It Like It's Hot (I abhor this song)
Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes (because the BASTARDS STOLE IT from The Who)
There are more, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Dr. Phil is a big, giant, maplestory. No, not a large online game but a large expletive. -_- I hate him.
Anyway, don't ask how that came about because that would involve a very long and tedious story I do not have the tenacity to verbosify.
What happened today? Slept in (yeah, surprisingly, 9am wake-up is considered sleeping in \o/), Academy...yeah, I'm cello section leader ;_;
Made a lot less mistakes than last rehearsal. Sounds so much better at rehearsal than at home, I think it's cause the acoustics in our room are very harsh and unforviging. That is my excuse. (The little acoustic elves hate me in our house)

Today: interesting. Woke up REALLY early (like, 5:45 ;_;) blah blah university blah blah
Music Composition...already have an assignment -_-
I'm actually really sleepy so I'm just gonna say hi and stuff. Yeah. Hi. I feel bad if I came all this way to the "create post" page and not say anything. I could have pressed back and this would all have never had happened but, I didn't.
Okaybye

Day Four:
Since tutorials/things other than lectures havent started, I finished today at 11am. \o/ Bus home was (as usual) late...if I knew for certain it woulda been late I would have checked where I was streamed for the music 103 (listening to music and being all good at listening or whatever) but...I didn't.
Yeah, that's about it. I also ate a MEAN sandwich but I'm sure nobody cares.

So today I got to sleep in (still woke up at like 9.30 anyway) and...went into the city, just for Choir Practice -_- Yeah. Half hour to tamaki, half hour on tamaki bus, then on the way back the same thing. So, two hours, for one hour of choir. I don't think I'll be going again. I might email the guy say I'm busy on Wednesdays or something.
Choir was...interesting. I know i've said this before, but it's so weird that I have to mention it again, they made me Bass II. There's this one note which I can *just* hit at the end of the first section/movement...hmm. Yeah. And the vocal warmups this guy got us to do were just bizarre...
Oh yeah, signed up at SJS (thats where the job description I posted up a while back came from). Might see them tomorrow for a referral or something. I need money -_-
The bus from City to Tamaki was PACKED. And mostly with people who wanted to drive home (including me. -_-)

Day two of Orientation Week.
Apparently, all that orientation going on still isn't getting into me. While I did manage to find my way to the MLT1 Lecture Room in the Science Building, I didn't manage to find Student Job Search and sign up there...instead, I found Shadows and me not being 18 = me not entering...missed the School of Music tour I signed up for cause the COMPSCI101 Lecture finished pretty much on 11, and I was supposed to be at the school of music five minutes before then. Meh.
The COMPSCI lecture was pretty okay. Saw three people I knew (infinite number higher than people I know in PHYSICS150), notably Matt Meffin. Must remember to steal homework from him *evil grin*
And all these clubs! Holy crap. Some weirdos trying to fence...this big boat in the middle of nowhere...gah. Go away clubs I don't want to join you. Some guy asked me if I was ready for the "30 second challenge". *ahem* No.
Apart from that, that's all I did today. Two lectures...found where me and William's joint locker is, did a bit of COMPSCI101 homework (yeah they gave out homework on the first lecture....;_; then again our lecturer tried to teach us how to juggle too so...)...yeah
And now I'm home.
The last three "paragraphs" start with the letter "a".
I was reading the COMPSCI Course Handbook on the bus (well, half the journey, the other half I was pseudo-sleeping). It's still confusing but I reckon if I just keep reading it or put it next to my head that information will slowly siphon into my brain. Maybe.

Hello. Today was the first day of University.
How did it go? Apart from feeling like a complete fresher twat, okay. I got lost a respectable number of times (at least three)...trekked through the Symonds Street Underpass at least six times...basically I walked around more than I needed to. I woke up at like 6 (UNPRECEDENTED) and William drove us in to Tamaki...then it started raining and I was just wearing a T-shirt and pants. It was cold, yes.
Anyway the rest of the day is boring, etc. Had to audition for choir. Apparently, I'm going to have to sing Bass (II) - which means the lowest part. o_O I'm not entirely sure why she picked that but...
Took the 52 home cause William left ages ago (next week onwards he's gonna have to wait a silly amount of hours though ;_;)...met Sonny on the bus, which is the only time I'll ever meet him cause I got to go home way before 5.30 this time because Physics Lab doesn't start until next week.
Yup, that's it.

UNIVERSITY TOMORROW IM EXCITED and scared
Band practice today was okay. I've lost my touch but I'll get it back slowly. Kit I'm playing on is some poo entry level one, but...it'll do for now :) I mean, it's still wicked as fun to play in a band. Have to somehow get that pedal to stop falling off though, and also a slightly lower drum-seat, and move the rack toms down a bit but I need one of those special twisty things for that.
Yeah.
UNIVERSITY TOMORROW
I packed:
My textbook for Physics 150 (still in shitty shrinkwrap, along with book for 120 which I don't need and plan to sell. Must remember to put notice up on physics noticeboard. wonder if I can just plonk a notice up there.)
Lunch. A muffin with what looks like oreos mashed on top and some jam of some description throughout, and two Uncle Toby's Chewy muesli bars (yeah, I emptied the box. Phoeey).
Pencil case. Feels kinda empty, it only has two blue pens, two red pens, two pencils and an eraser and a pencil sharpener. Hmm.
Folder, with two half-used pads of refill, and one pad of manuscript.
Wallet.
Mobile.
HAHHA i can bring my mobile to university.
Hmm. I have orientation and a lecture at the same time. ;_;

I just spent two and a half hours mowing our lawn. Finished now. -_- Richard doesn't do his job in a month, and I end up having to do it. Ah well, it actually wasn't that bad, a good workout...though my hands kinda hurt now from the random vibration and I need to use my hands for the rest of the day...hmm.
Meh.
Meh.

THE TOM GREEN SHOW IS REALLY SILLY HAHAHHAHA
William obviously hates it. Don't blame him. But I find it hilarious.
Watched Matrix Revolutions today. Understood a bit more of it (LIKE HOW AGENT SMITH IS A VIRUS IN THE SYSTEM LOLOL DUH HE REPLICATES HIMSELF DUH) and stuff. If only Matrix Online was free...imagine a matrix inside an online world inside a matrix. Whoa.
Also today William and my mum went grocery shopping, right, and he bought some Just Juice Bubbles. There was so much bubbling goin on that when I opened it it basically exploded forth with bubbles and I had to change my pants. Not because I crapped myself or anything, but because they got sticky. From the juice. The drinkable juice. The one that William bought. The Just Juice Bubbles.
Hmm. Oh yeah, went into Botany today with Brad he went to buy an amp and...while we were in Rockshop his car got broken into O_O Car stereo was lost, glovebox emptied, etc. The Rockshop staff were really good though they called in the constable and stuff. Brad's family has insurance. -_-
I am now leader of Cello section of Academy again. Cause Jocellin is going to Korea. o_O I really need to practice.
I hate you, Sam Ling -_- I know you're way better than me but no need to shove it in my face everytime you see me.
And also I'm excited/worried/annoyed that I am going into Uni on Monday.
Can't think of anything else I want to announce at the moment. Yup.

Hello. My dad now has a blog. ^^"
I think I've been too harsh on him. He's a nice person, really. Unlike some people I know. Hmm.
Today, did the following:
Picked up film. Okay, while it was dang expensive for all those prints, they were holy crap awesomely printed. I'm so glad they came out really well, I'm gonna scan some in so that the people in Taiwan and stuff can have a look. :)
William got his simcard replaced.
Mum went to help with the Auckland Lantern Festival.
Went into the city:
COMPSCI Orientation. Basically, some guy outside the computer lab was being really nice and friendly, told me I needed to buy the course manual or something (which I eventually did, and damn it's thick and looks confusing ;_;) and the guys inside set up my NetID and stuff. It was some random Mainland Chinese people, and basically they were arguing the moment I got in and then one of them had to help me mwahhahaha.
I joined AUSA (no other clubs yet though. Meat club sounds interesting but don't think I need to eat much more food). Got free shit. Promptly threw most of it away (like fliers and stuff. -_- There were free magazines but apparently by the time I got there they only had the Listener left (FHM was gone) and by the time William got there, there were no more free pack things.) Kept the diary and wall planner. Threw away the stupid orientation magazine.
Switched accounts from School to Tertiary. Will be interesting...they say it'll be finalized in a week or so. Oh yeah, does anyone want to switch to National Bank? You'll get a free backpack >.> (actually all the banks are giving out free stuff if you join with them...like a free CD or mobile credit or who knows what else) I had to get an invoice printed from the Clocktower first though.
Ate some of my mum's noodles. MMM (a bit pricey at $4 though, I'm sure it costs half that to make or something)
Hmm. Oh yeah, bought textbook for Physics 150. IT comes bundled with the one you need for Physics 120. I am not taking 120. If someone wants to buy it off me, PLEASE DO I'll sell it cheaper than UBS does.
Saw David. Didn't bring present because I didn't think I would see him. He was five minutes late to his Engineering orientation anyway.
---
Came home. Tried to get to Brad's house (this is Brad who used to be in FFOF and is now in FFOF again and stuff). Got lost. Called Thomas. He was having dinner, gave instructions to get there. Got lost. Called Brad, got house number. People arrived in the following order:
Me
Thomas + Tineke
Ellen + Craig
John and Caz were supposed to be there.
Emma
OMGOMG I haven't seen these people for ages. I swear I've seen Craig before, somewhere. Maybe I was drunk when I did. Maybe.
Hmm.
Yeah but...because I went to that (was invited to that first, it was kinda a semi band-meeting) I missed out on Sonny's movie night. Hmm.
When me and William went to get a 10-trip bus pass, they were closed. -_- Will have to get them on Monday.
Hmm. I think I've spent all the money my dad gave me for this month o_O I paid for his gym membership. Today was the last day it was on Earlybird Special or something like that. I deposited $700...
And then I've spent $120 on Altec Lansing....$170 gym membership...$60 photos...I'm sure there's other stuff I bought too...hmmm...
I wonder if I should change my $NT...wonder how much I'll get...hmm...Xe.com says at this very second I'm getting 423.742 NZD. This is assuming they don't charge a commission. Hmm. Wonder if I should free up that $400...hmm...
This probably isn't a good time since NZ currency's going really strong at the moment. I probably need a job, or something.
This new computer is truly awesome. Just watched Matrix Reloaded, the second half of it. o_O SOUNDS AWESOME
yeah. Ahem. Anyway thought I'd just mention how crappy Auckland University is. Anyone who has seen my ID card can attest to that. I have what is possibly the world's worst looking ID photo. It's not that I look bad, it's that I don't look, at all, like anything. -_-
Also, Ming now has to pay $250 because he signed up for a student loan a week before fees were due - which is two weeks too late for Studylink to get it done. While fees suck...I dunno. I'm just lucky I got to pay with my dad/mum's credit card. o_O

I'm glad we bought them. I'm sure my mum will take one look at the wire running across the floor to the rear left speaker and say "nah" though. But whatever. XD IT SOUNDS AWESOME sonny come round some day and you can listen

This new computer...it is so totally kickass. Not only does it look awesome with the somehow uncanny matching colour-scheme of black and silver (well, maybe not the mouse), but it's FAST and it's AWESOME. The only problem is sometimes it crashes due to the DVD drive not being able to read some CDs and then it crashes instead of sensibly just not reading it. ;_; Probably going to get some nice 5.1s today. Yeah. Going into Uni tomorrow because that makes more sense, or something.

Hello. I am in New Zealand now. Leaving Taiwan airport was really sad. I thought that I might get away without crying, unlike last year, but well, history repeated.
;_;
I'll miss y'all!
---
But now that I'm in NZ it's kinda slowly gearing up to start for Uni. Looking into a monitor for our new computer and a 5.1 (those Altec Lansings looked good) and stuff. There was rotting fruit in the house which somebody (ahem) didn't clean up. I think that may have contributed to my general sneeziness when I entered the house yesterday. Also! Went to Dick Shit and apparently they got their shit together, haven't tested it yet but got the computer back. So now, uh, we have two new computers, because basically Sick Dmith replaced everything...o_O CDrom, motherboard...ram...we even got a ram upgrade cause this new motherboard could only handle DDR ram. XD I dunno what we're gonna do with it though.
Wall mounting for new monitor? Could be cool. Another $60.
-_- Went to try get films developed too, holy crap, took a while to find somebody who'd actually process the black and white film I had. And it's gonna take five business days o_O (so that's Tuesday)...and um I also got "ripped off" cause I didn't process film at Warehouse's filmy place, instead I went to Camera House in Pakuranga or something. Meh.
Hmm hmm hmm it's all good oh yeah I'm not leader of Academy anymore yay ^_^ And uh, Sonny, join please kthnx.
That's all for now. I'm sure I had a lot more to say but I'm tired, bye!
-oh yeah I got through the MAF thingy fine. I had this old guy who was getting really pissed off at the guy behind me cause that guy kept crossing the red line without being called over...anyway my old guy opened up my box of food, looked at the lays chips and said "is that all you have", and I said "nah I've got some pastry stuff at the bottom" and he's like oh okay whatever and basically just sealed the box back up XD
So, I enjoyed the yummy Old Woman Biscuits or whatever their name actually is.
;_;
I'll miss y'all!

I love the tone that's in your laugh
gasping for an extra breath
Waiting for the time to pass
I believe in days ahead
Don't spend another night alone
Cross and wishing you were dead
Mary, you shouldn't let 'em make you mad
You hold the best you can
And Mary, after all the pain is gone
I'm always gonna live to be your man.
I've had it easy now you see
When I'm down you're always there
Standing by to comfort me
Someday we'll go round the world
I'll make the journey so sublime
I know you're not a travelin' girl
Mary, you shouldn't let 'em make you mad
You hold the best you can
And Mary, after all the pain is gone
I'm always gonna live to be your man.
Cause I'd give everything i have
Forget all the things that bring me joy
If you could have one day
Pure and simple happiness
Until that moment comes
I'll be here where i've always been
I'm gonna be your friend
Until the day i die
Mary, you shouldn't let 'em make you mad
You hold the best you can
And Mary, after all the pain is gone
I'm always gonna live to be your man.

I leave Taiwan today; -_- sadness its sad
I really wouldn't be nearly as sad if I knew when I'd be able to come back again. But ah well, I suppose really it has been a long holiday here. I've really, really enjoyed it. Guys in Kaohsiung, if you're reading, thank you again! Thank you for your hospitality, your friendliness, it really made this holiday...one of the best in my life (yes that includes all excursions and trips everywhere)
Yaknow, now that I think of it...
This really has been the best holiday. Malaysia trip this time round was awesomeage too...Sonny's presence meant we got to run around and see a lot of things...Taiwan was AWESOMEage as well. Man...
I'm really gonna miss this place...even just the apartment...my grandpa constantly telling me to turn my headphones down cause he thinks they hurt ears or something...cable TV...the wooden floor (which I'm due to vacuum after I take a shower)....the bread (it's so FRESH) the milk (it has a unique Taiwan flavour) my cousin my aunt my uncles...
Yeah...

Hello, I just came back from what is probably my last outing in Taiwan :(
Points of note:
- I went on a "hot springs excursion"...yes, the same kind I went on last year (okay not really, that wasn't an excursion that was just hot springs)...yes, it's the kind where you get totally naked with people you don't even know and sit in water they're also simultaneously sitting in.
- The first one we went to was a government owned one at a place called "Yang Ming Shan", which translate in to Sun something Mountain, or something. Anyway. It's free cause it's government run but it was also pretty basic. One toilet, which was kinda scungy looking, the lame squatter kind, and basic wooden cubby holes for clothing + personal items, a small exterior area and the hot-mountain-spring-water-container-thing place itself. There were old men here while I was there and they were really boring cause they were all speaking really loudly in Taiwanese, which I don't understand. Yeah. But it was kinda relaxing, especially since this weekend it's been REALLY COLD (5 degrees celsius! FOG! WIND CHILL FACTOR!).
- The second one we went to was a Japanese styled one, which was really high class and costs normally around $30 a pop in NZ (roughly NT $600) but since we bought concession tickets it was NT $400...this one was AWESOME. Black tiled hot spring pool thing, lockable lockers with personal keys attached on little spring thingies which you hold on to. (Okay that may not make sense but I know what I'm talking about >.>), two toilets, which were clean, and nice...sauna, with/without steam, exterior view of Wu-lai mountains and an exterior hot-spring area, showers (inside and outside), free bottled water, shampoo, shower gel, hairbrushes for use afterwards (steriliser machine as well), toothpaste toothbrush free facetowel and waterproof bag for you to keep, fluffy towels, free razors, shaving gel, about four mirrors upstairs (the area was multilayered)...and a really flash design. Awesome relaxation...I basically sat in that black-tiled pool and enjoyed the hot water and the really cold breeze from the window, at the same time. ah,......
I feel sorry for the cleaner guy who has to work there though cause he has to watch naked men sit in hot water all day, and stuff.
There was free tea afterwards too...and all the staff were nice and friendly, although it did get a bit creepy hearing welcome about five times in a row. When we were gonna leave this guy tried to "escort me to the car I'll drive home" o_O I don't think I look that old.
...
Yeah that was hot springs. Went to sleep at policewoman aunty's house again. You know how my aunt has a superfriends group, 10 of them? ...
There were 10 good friends in Kaohsiung, three of them moved to Taipei when they got married (policewoman, babysitter, my aunt), four still in Kaohsiung and three in Taichung (i think...)...yeah anyway two Kaohsiung ones came up to Taipei for the weekend for this excursion thing.
The two ones I met this time (I saw them when I was in Kaohsiung but I didnt really get talk to them):
Mushroom Aunty - I don't know what she does for a job but she gave dried mushrooms for me and my aunt to take back to Taipei when I was in Kaohsiung so I'm gonna call her this from now on. XD She's the "blonde" of the group, and the oldest, and there's a whole lot of really funny stories about her which I will probably tell really badly so I won't.
Bravery Aunty - She has a daughter, and she's really cool and friendly. I'm gonna call her Bravery Aunty cause my aunt says she's not like mushroom aunty and scared of being taken away by strangers or something. Yeah.
---
That's it for now. I leave soon :( :( :( supersad Hi guys in Kaohsiung if you are reading, I'm still thinking of y'all!
There may be photos soon. Maybe.

Hello. Did I mention anything about getting lost while going to buy a meal and newspaper for my grandpa? Well, I did it again (got lost) while buying food in preparation for today's trip into the mountains for hot springs! Yeah. IT's really quite cold today, I don't think it has been this cold since I came here...yeah...hmm...
I think I had something profound to say, like the meaning of life, but I always forget it the moment I click the "Create Post" button. :)
